The American Bar over in Sailortown beside the docks in Belfast, is a far better pint of Guinness than both Bittles and Maddens. Its underrated because it's not in the city centre, and probably doesn't get the tourists in.

I'd consider myself a regular here and it definitely is the best Guinness in the city, I laugh anytime I see people posting hate on the place... I've even heard people say I can't believe I'm not allowed to stand but when you're there and it's full, you'll get it and it's understandable why table service only... The staff are always 100% Nice one for doing this video.
Worked up in Belfast for a year during covid and this was definitely the best pint in Belfast. We drank here a lot and found the staff very friendly. Well worth a visit if you're a Guinness drinker 👍
He seems alright to me, the guy is clearly passionate about his pints and that's all you need. The place is small too, so he needs to run a tight ship and the Guinness looks unreal.
Yeah he said something really unfunny trying to impress a girl I walked in with at my expense one day. Doesn't know us from adam. It was odd to say the least.

I've drank in most bars in Belfast cant say I've ever been in this one for no other reason than it was never in my crossfire I'd say yer man is just oldskool and has a bit of envy towards the new hipster generation that Cathedral Quarter has spawned I even remember the old kitchen bar places like that don't really exist now they are all fakes of old pubs at least there's a bit of authenticity with this bar.
