Tbh he was totally fearless with his comedy. It’s so incredible to watch. Nobody else could’ve made this material funny. Flawed guy absolutely. But damn what a friggin radiant, brilliant person.
i always think it's because he was so loved by his parents as a kid. when a boy is loved that much he can get this charmed thing that he carries with him and harris had that. lots of stuff he said wouldn't have worked if anybody else said it
I’m a huge standup fan/amateur comedian/addict but had never heard of him until I heard about his death on his sister’s podcast yesterday. What a crazy story. And it reflects what most comedians are working with. Pain. What good comedy does for me is make pain relatable and a little more bearable. Thanks Harris, RIP.

Looked him up after Sarah Silverman talked about him. Was expecting the greatest comedian of all time so maybe my expectations were high. He's okay. Nothing special but okay.
