The best thing about Steering Assist will be situations like fertilizing… sometimes nearly impossible to see what’s been sprayed on latter crop stages.

Not sure if anyone picked up on this yet but with steering assist you will spend more time in cab (first person) especially in the harvester. Game changer
Probably because it's morning. It's just how the game's nature changes throughout the day. It usually goes away before noon. Plus they are still tuning this game, maybe it'll be less. Chances are you aren't the only one who dislikes the fog.
Other content creators have already confirmed that it's foggy because it's morning. I assume MrSealyP didn't know since he's used to playing on console, but the button for changing the timescale was not disabled for the preview, but if he'd sped up time you'd have seen the fog dissipating.

I have quite a few hours in courseplay now and I still often need to debug it, redefine fields etc. because of stuff like overhanging branches that stop your machine, or walls and fences that are detected as being closer than they really are when turning, so it will be interesting to see how well the new system handles the stuff that could trip CP up. Steering assist looks to provide the same functionalilty that farmers with the latest machines are getting in real life so that's cool. I tried guidance steering (still not got round to VCA) but it did not seem to resume the line as easily as you showed the new in game version doing. I also really like the way the AI will carry the work out in a more realistic order - I have been trying to do this myself, and CP allows it, but really nice to have it as an option in the main game. Just need them to implement tramlines properly, the drivelaner mod is pretty janky, but probably the best that could be done within the way the current game works. Thanks for sharing Sealy! I wonder if the fog lifts as the day lapses? It looks like it might, comparing the start & finish of the video. The GPS line in the field is a little bit immersion breaking, hopefully it can be toggled off / invisible. The ground deformation here looked much better around the 35:00 mark, with the indentation of the tractor tyre tracks. Much better than the earlier videos I saw where the tractor just sinks into the field. Vehicles good, maps good, can't wait to try it out!

I totally get what you are saying. It never ceases to amaze me that the content creators are the most opinionated, when they have made a profession from a video game. But they are the first ones to play the doomsday card. MrSealyP is really the main one without a bunch of negative feedback. Now I know why Daggerwin stays to himself
I very much enjoyed this exclusive gameplay. I understand your disappointment in not getting to the other map, however I think than given how much content there is it is understandable than you just did not have enough time. I played FS22 using GPS from the release date and I find the new GPS system in FS25 impressive, and I am looking forward to using it. It definitely looks better, and with more features than the current versions in FS22. Thank you for this advanced look
I Do have one issue with this map. All signage is in English. The French, German, Polish, etc. maps the signage is in the local language. Just seems off some how.
I glad to see that Giants did their homework by implementig a proper AI worker with a menu and options that looks a lot like the actual Courseplay mods. I was affraid after seeing the Farmcon interviews that it would only be a limited option like it was presented at that time.
I'm really liking what I'm seeing from the AI / GPS assist mode now, I wonder if the menu systems is actually new additions after listening to feedback from you guys at FarmCon and other events / online? Regardless it's looking like exactly what I was hoping it would be, enough options to make it useful and also user friendly without being too complex. Definitely a great basegame feature! The ground deformation is interesting too, I think they've toned it down a bit from the initial presentations to a more believable level. Hard to see on a phone screen but I did notice at one point in the Challenger it looked like a road was showing deformation, not sure if that was a gravel road or mud coming off the tyre tread. I do like the way the fog and dust system works with the new game engine, there was definitely a difference between the fields at the start and the town at the end, especially around the harbour area. It looks like most of the recordings are done early morning so hopefully once we get to see different times of day it'll help appease rhe Fog DLC crowd out there. Great video, MrSealyP, glad you had the best time there!!
The game looks way better then the version I played on Gamescom. The Asian map is my favourite. There’s still things I don’t like such as that basic looking animal pen with square pasture and where’s crop rotation, germination, moisture, fungicides, pesticides, etc Those are all things that should be base game after more then a decade of FS games. But my rant aside, I am looking forward to FS25. Nice video btw. 👌
I would like to see logging contracts where you have to clear the land then build a field. Or hay contracts where farmer John needs 20 bales and if you have the land to bale them you can deliver to him.
I was hoping for more fog banks instead of all covered in fog. Fog banks are more realistic and think will be more eye candy in game as just full fog coverage
The sounds, especially the animal sounds are amazing. The one element I really want to see is how forage harvesting etc. is handled. Can we hire worker to run cart beside the forage harvester?
fog hides the level of detail circle rendering at a distance effect which I never liked. I'd be curious if this fog is able to be removed or if its on every map or not...

@@davidvanmol5199 Looking at gameplay, I have seen fog on the map at 12pm, 2pm and 6pm! Major issue as devs use fog to increase fps. It's also VERY unrealistic to have fog everyday (even if it is suppose to be morning and night). Think the best thing like minded people can do is to wait for a mod that removes that rubbish.
So far I'm not seeing a big improvement from FS22. I think I'm going to wait until it goes on sale and the modding community has had a chance to make it what it should be.
Do you know if it will work similar to course play as in getting trucks with trailer to pull up next to harvesters without our input? If so I will be getting console over pc
I am not a fan of the heavy fog. Do you know if there will be a setting to adjust how much fog is on the map? I think its just too much. That kind of fog is usually seed after a rainy day, not on bright sunny days. The sun should be burning the fog off.
The best thing about Steering Assist will be situations like fertilizing… sometimes nearly impossible to see what’s been sprayed on latter crop stages.

I remember the first fs game I played was fs13 on Xbox 360, I never played 15 a d probably got into it with fs17, the whole thing about them being the exact same gave just isn’t true, sure some mechanics are similar bad the difference isn’t as big when you compare the newest to the last release, but if you go back and actually look at the early games there is so much now that we just didn’t have that we now take for granted
Im excited to play it..but honestly im not impressed ..I'll still buy it because it have steering assist ..and i play on console. so there's no mods
for it there..but honestly ..it's kinda meh..just small update on 22
Going through the town with all the signs & neon lights it reminds me of the Yakuza(Like A Dragon) games if anyone played them.
As Monty Python once said - "You Lucky (Upstart)".
Sweet talk Kermit to give you a extra hour
is there an option to turn off fog it's really annoying
It's part of the graphics system, it is more like real life
?
I don't mind the fog and the dust but does the fog clear as the day and seasons progress?
I can't wait. i absolutely love the Asian map. i feel lots and lots of hours playing on that map coming up 🎉🎉🎉 it looks stunning. The GPS seems to be what we console players have been waiting for.... is it the 12th yet? 😂😂
Giants in effect make a base game that only becomes a truly major game on the work of our amazing mod community.😊
That's great😮
1. No VR support.
2. No weight to vehicles
3. Super speed arcade handling
4. Looks like 22 with a couple mods
5. Lighting is cartoon again
Disapointed.
6. Dropping producer is a texture that's rises up no physics.. 😢😢😢
7. No seat adjustment

And they removed a bunch of logging machines, only the komatsu harvester and rottne forwarder left.
Hopefully that have reduced the cost of workers this time around
love it MrSealyP. thank you
Love the content, wait, you were in Racine and you didn't call me? 😢 Just kidding, hope you enjoyed Wisconsin and didn't spend too much money at the Mars Cheese Castle...😂
looks good 😊
It appears the jump power has been lowered 50% to stop you exploring certain areas.
Fog from fs17 was better😂
No thank you Mr Sealy P. Keep up the great work love your passion!
The fog is a major issue!!
It’s not. Only in the morning and evening.
@@davidvanmol5199 doesn't matter when it is
@@hdvrNG and why is it a major issue?
@@davidvanmol5199 Looking at gameplay, I have seen fog on the map at 12pm, 2pm and 6pm!
Major issue as devs use fog to increase fps.
It's also VERY unrealistic to have fog everyday (even if it is suppose to be morning and night).
Think the best thing like minded people can do is to wait for a mod that removes that rubbish.
@@hdvrNG then you didn’t see much footage. I played the game on Gamescom and I can assure you the mist is mostly not there.
Can't wait for 25
So far I'm not seeing a big improvement from FS22. I think I'm going to wait until it goes on sale and the modding community has had a chance to make it what it should be.
COOL Your A Natural born Farmer Mr S P
Do you know if it will work similar to course play as in getting trucks with trailer to pull up next to harvesters without our input? If so I will be getting console over pc
Probably not. This is a simplified version of gps and courseplay. Hopefully we modders convert their versions.
My question is will they have real auto save that works by itself rather than pressing the map button for it to save
I am not a fan of the heavy fog. Do you know if there will be a setting to adjust how much fog is on the map?
I think its just too much. That kind of fog is usually seed after a rainy day, not on bright sunny days. The sun should be burning the fog off.
They said it goes away after the morning passes
What's the point of an incredible town, when it's deserted. Where are the people?..
