Gonzbol No it is the same standard V6 engine as the 2014. The two other engine alternatives are the 2.0 ecoboost and the big 3.5 ecooboost. With 240hp versus 365hp.
Just ordered one for my wife. Sport in the Ruby red metallic with tinted clear, 3.5 ecoboost with every option available. Matches my Superduty to a T. Being younger I get stares from the neighbors in my truck. Just wait till they see my wife's matching SUV! Can't wait. Nothing compares to these new explorers.

Well, we have had it for about two weeks now and we love it. I am a little disappointed at the "cheapy" looking dash in comparison to my Superduty, but the 3 screens are really nice. My wife especially loves her interior lighting she can change. The only other downside I can see is the car seems to be a bit of a jump in and out. The footwells seem really deep, even for me at 6'3".

The perfect car for your little woman. Women love this car, it's plush carpet and cushy seats make them feel right at home. Perfect for trips to the grocery store or grandma's house.
Can you tell me how the explorer limited brakes fell compared to the sport ? I have a 2011 limited model and for me it feels rather weak and not as strong. And i drove my cousins 2013 Toyota Prado ( US version is Lexus GX ) and the brakes are just awesome and really really strong. If you could make a comparison i would appreciate it.

nucky thomson No the exterior looks the same, however, Ford came out with a new appearance package for the XLT that makes it look similar to the SPORT model. The 2016 will be a completely new Explorer.
