@@JJMilare Yes. I'm learning to play the Ukulele. I can manage to play the Uke for a few simple songs... But I'm too shy to sing. Moreover, most songs don't appeal to me so that I would want to sing them... And the ones that do... Makes me choke with tears of joy and give me a painful lump in my throat! So That's another reason I avoid singing. Its too overwhelming for me despite me able to sing quite well!

Niranjan Acharya ah I understand! As for tips for singing I don’t have much. But I would say if you want to sing a song..sing the songs that you love most! :). Practice the song slowly and slowly but consistently and you will become more confident in singing it! Lmk if you have other singing questions while you are practicing!

My grandma just passed away this morning, all of a sudden due to a traffic accident. It's a pity I can't be with her at her last moment. I can't even go home to attend her funeral, the only one who couldn't be there. I want to give her my last hug and kiss, tell her how much I love her. I want her to know that she has lived a such a beautiful life. 'A life worth living is a life worth recording'. I know the story about her soul, her heart and mind will be passed down and told for generations.
But I'm a continent away from her. I can't even travel back home bc of the lockdown. Nothing I could do but crying, reviving every single memory or her. She doesn't speak English, neither can she hear. But this is such a pretty song that I want to sing loud for her. I believe she can feel it and understand I will always remember her; her image lives forever in my hearts and she'll always stay with me on every path of life.

I am so sorry for your loss Nhung. It's not easy to lose someone that you love very much, especially in times like these. It doesn't make it any easier that this whole lockdown is happening either. 2020 has been a trying time for a lot of us. Many people we have lost. I almost lost my father this year. I hope and pray that you will be comforted at this time. Remember all the good moments spent with her. Those are the moments to be cherished. Sing this song as many times as you wish because it is a very beautiful song. Prayers go out to you and the family also Nhung.

My baby was born 2 months early and is in the NICU. He recognizes this song from when he was in the womb and I sing it to him all day so that when I have to leave at night he will remember me and hopefully not be sad that I can’t be there. Thank you again for sharing this!!!!

Hi JJ, I'm learning the ukulele. I learned one song that I think only had three chords by ukulele underground. A song by The Beatles " Let it Be ". But that was back in July 2018. I really didn't practice much. It was more like watch, learn, sight read the chords and play it alongside the RUclips ukulele instructor. A year later I had a death in the family. And a year later COVID-19 hit. I had to deal with the death of my older brother, had to end my lease and move away to another town, and with covid around, the ukulele was back in storage. I think it was last year or maybe this summer that I came across the movie Coco, one of my grandchildren's video, I'm 62 years old. This song and the movie gave me a new perspective on this Mexican old tradition. I now understand it's not just another reason to party and get drunk, but to those who celebrate it seriously is to " REMEMBER THEM ". Thank you for making the easy version of the song. Today 11/24/21 I found you and it will help me to pick up the ukulele again and play it, plus continue learning it. God bless you and " Patria Y Vida " JCT:)

For the can’t help falling in love, I would maybe practice the strum over and over without any chords yet until you get comfortable with the picking lattern then add the chords to it :). It would be easier to evaluate if I see him. But let me ask you this, does he play and chords? Does you hear that his timing is good yet or kinda just sporadic strumming?
