Actually got inspired by this video to mod my childhood Gamecube (that my Dad got me for Christmas back in 2001) with the GC Loader ODE and a translucent purple shell. First time I had ever fully taken apart a console and then put it back together, and I was worried the whole time that I'd done something wrong, but everything worked as intended. And I wouldn't have done it without watching this video and going "Hey, this is cool, I wanna do it myself!"
I think it’s a solid game and definitely one of my favourites. Monkey Target with a friend was a great mini game. I do struggle with it today though. I think age has dulled my reactions a bit.
@@3dprintinglife thanks for the feedback. I’ll pay a bit more attention to the levels next time. Was struggling a bit getting Resolve to do the right aspect ratio!
Awwwwww you look so cute in a onesie!! Though I’ll skip the energy drinks, toxic caffeine, my body can’t process it. I do miss my beautiful and beloved purple GameCube, I should do what you did and make a really good one from an old one from eBay, it’s just not the same using a Wii!

If I had the money I’d like to get a purple shell of the same type and switch the buttons and front panel. I’m thinking I’m going to 3d print a purple jewel with yellow text for the top instead of the black one. What do you think?
If you electroplate the shielding you could go with a yellowish or golden tint. I'm sure there's a way to make it look like that, yellow zinc plating I think. It would fit the neon yellow case.
Great looking case. I love my GameCube but to be honest I never actually use it as the WiiU simply displays GameCube games better than the original hardware.
Who the Retro Robbins chap sounds like yam yam to me 😂 great Video Mark . Thanks for making it most entertaining🎉 ,I send you the New RETRO ROBBINS Game for the ZX spectrum , in micro Blitz 😊 yes theres an actual game about me 😂😂

@@Nukle0n I’m going to do a mini video on that. I think a lot of people would prefer that standalone because not everyone will be changing the shell or adding a flippydrive. They arrived today actually!

Can all the elitist purists and collectors who will cry looking at this broken shell (and in some videos brazenly tell other people what to do with their possessions) bottle your tears and send them to me. If the tears don't flow from Marks video, I took 5 original (stick working) N64 and 2 original new/old stock NES controllers out of circulation and binned their working innards, in order to install the 8bitdo wireless mods. Sure I could have sold or donated the innards to you, but I snapped a couple boards for fun with pliers, cut the cables and broke the sticks. Now...That being said... Bottle those tears, I will gladly pay shipping.

This GC needs a LED mod underneath the transparent case that reacts to the games audio and visuals
I thought about that actually but then decided it might be a bit annoying flashing away when I was playing a game!
