The fly animatronic makes me think of the movie where the alien woman comes to earth for the soul purpose of getting pregnant and laying her eggs, I wish I could remember the name of the movie because I've been wanting to rewatch it again for years. I remember it coming on Sci-Fi like once or twice and then have never seen it again.

I am watching this against my better judgement, as there is one animatronic from a movie that terrified me to the core. Not anymore, but still. I love animatronics and I must get used to this kind of stuff. I love your content! My fave stuff is the dark rides, specifically the ones that are run down or just dark rides in general.

Haha, it seems silly now to be scared of it, but it was The Hug, that Hulu special. The animatronic terrified me and my sis when we first saw it. But we turned it into an inside joke so it's not scary anymore lol

I have a suggestion for rescued animatronics or video game animatronics back in the early 2000s there was a Pokémon center store in New York that is now the Nintendo store in that store was some Pokémon animatronics sadly when the store closed and was remodeled into the Nintendo store all the animatronics were removed and destroyed except for 1 the pikachu animatronic that’s safely with vintage Pokémon collector mewisme pikachu is well taken care of with her and he still works i highly recommend reaching out to mewisme if possible she has both a RUclips and TikTok

i honestly hate how so much is used cgi now so many movies esp animated ones look much the same to the point where at times i can't tell what company they are from. yes cgi has it's place and does look amazing at times but so does practical...but there's just so much cgi

While practical effects, especially animatronics, are technological marvels, they can become disastrous and not very credible. Both practical and CG visual effects are tools. Whether they look good or bad is not a function of the tool. It comes down to how much money is spent and how much time is allowed to complete the work.
