This was a phenomenal video. My uncle is a Centurion member and he refused to allow my brother or me to pay for dinner recently. When he pulled that card out I felt like Neo seeing in code when he mastered the matrix lol.

I feel like this may be a ridiculous question, but how did you know that the person calling you was legitimately from American Express and not a Scam or Spam call? Thank you for the extremely informative video!
the number was american express number. He also asked me by my name and then confirmed my address.
This question is legit. Call IDs can def be spoofed. I would not have been comfortable applying over a call that was not initiated by me.

It seems worth it if you and a spouse are members of Equinox however without the equinox credit I don’t see the value over the platinum. Also the $10,000 initiation fee seems ridiculous and a missed opportunity for investment of that cash.
I’m pretty sure you’re not qualified for the black card. Rich people don’t give a shit about the 10k initiation fee. And poor people are not qualified for the black card. 😂😂😂

Hi, I did really got a written invitation for applying to the centurion card so that is true. My card was delivered by DHL in a welcome box with the Prada wearable. You’re right about influencers there are a lot of them only guessing what’s need to get invited for the Centurion card.
Thank you for your comments and putting your experience here. Are you in USA? Prada wearable are not available to US centurion until at least end of september and we will also get our ART cards around the same time.
@@GetToThePoint-Creditcards I am from Europe, myself have the classic black and my wife has the art card from Keyhinde Wiley. We both have the Prada wearable. And true there are so many perks that the CENTURION MEMBERSHIP EXECUTIVE don’t mentioned 😉

Card was business or personal? Which Market? US? US is by far the hardest market to get an invitation to by what I can see. I suppose it's because you need $1m USD to be in the top 0.1% in Brazil (as an example) vs $25m+ to be in the same percentile in the USA.

Casey is also pretty famous though, and mentioned that he got it through knowing a high up at Amex, if they curate to people who can market the card, they would have no reason to not do that, it would be an odd thing to lie about. Great video overall though!

I believe the guy that said his Centurion card was hand-delivered to him, lives in Holand. Might be different there you know.....

Yes, i did fill that out, but almost a year before the invite or maybe 9 months before it.

They make money whether you use your "benefits" or not, and your responsibility to read the full disclosure and benefits etc.
If I'm paying fee in $10K+ $250k & annually, I want equal or greater benefits I paid for it.

Bottom line if you have money, you can get this card!! I dabble in the entertainment industry, and i know people who don’t have the best of credit but they got money and they have this card!!

Is this card has unlimited spending?
Well, it is well known that they say there is not "preset limit" on this card, but there is unknown limit, but i have not been rejected yet for big purchases.
You go that card in the mail! I got the Gold via FedEx.

I have a friend who has this card whose income is technically 0 on his taxes because he writes a lot off hes a landlord and he takes depression and everything else he possibly can but hes spends about $400000 a year
I'm shocked that he got the Card because income is a very important of the approval process. The amount of income verification might be less than in an audit and maybe it got by with it because of that. A landlord could technically say that his income is based on the rent income rather than the net income. Just for clarity it's depreciation not depression.
I write-off everything I make and I have no trouble getting cards many ask for total gross income Gross income would be your line 7 on your schedule C American Express I believe does not use Net income I believe they let you use your gross as well

Insightful. Does American Express sent you anything "official" prior to the phone call, like a message online, in the app, email, letter in the mail? If not that would kind of bother me. Chase is becoming very notorious for cold calling and then I have to wonder if it's a legit call or a scam and of course there is no official phone number list or anything. It's just poor banking practice because of all the phishing scams that exist and puts the customers in a potentially compromised situation. Thanks for getting to the point as well.
there was nothing official prior to the call. I can't remember exactly what other things he might have said to identify himself as a centurion rep, but it was a call that came from an American express customer service number. Chase is calling me randomly as well and i hate it, sometimes from the chase branch.
