Today we are walking around Hua Mum Market located at Lat Phrao, Bangkok. Not many tourists know about this market because it’s far from central Bangkok area, the inconvenience of public transport could be the major reasons.
If you prefer to experience “local things to do in Bangkok” visiting Hua Mum Market is recommended. Please expect fewer communication skills in English compared to the tourist famous shopping places like Chatuchak Market etc.
Local Thai woman loves shopping in the night market. Price is a lot cheaper than buying at the shopping mall. It only opens on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday night from 7 pm to midnight.
Nightlife in Bangkok gets exciting with shopping at the night markets. It is definitely one of the “best things to do” in Bangkok for all tourists. Especially this Hua Mum market is not known for many tourists.
Learning a few simple Thai phrase and throwing it to the shopkeepers might get you a discount on items. Every Thai in the market knows that negotiating the price is part of the fun in shopping.

Rod Fai night market or neon night market, there are in the city and lots of tourists and Pratunam has lots of shopping mall around there :) but for me I like Siam center

I'll be travelling to BKK soon & am planning on going to Pratunam morning market, may I know what time it operates and what time would you suggest to be there? It is because I came across websites, some stated 5am some 7am & some 9am so I'm confused >
I think it's depends on what kind of stuff that you want. I think for 5am it's for a big wholesale but 9 am is okay for tourist wholesale as well.❣️

There's too far from Pratunum, you might take an hour to Huamum night market :)
How far is this night market from city center? The sellers not good.command in english? With your recommendations more and more tourists might visit this market. And it will increase their sales.
just around 17 km From Central Chidlom but the traffic always bad so....
for tourist, you might like the Ratchada train market. it's in the city and hot night market

3 USD for a shirt is amazing. But they're crap quality. I'm Thai and bought one before. They don't last long compare to my 40 AUD authentic under armour t shirts. But I'm sure there's better quality in some place.
