  • With permission from Dave himself. He autographed my "No Dirty Names" LP and chatted for about ten minutes in the lobby before the show
. I got his permission to record so I ran to the car and grabbed my 8mm camcorder & sticks. The 3-4 second audio dropout about 58:30 in, is my edit because I had to change tapes.

Great to see this legend. I learnt Candy Man maybe 40 years ago and was thrilled to hear him play it just the way I was taught it.

Dave's music seems to be improving with age. I appreciate him more now than before. I was hoping to see both Candyman and Come Back Baby and at about 44:00 I got my wish. If he finishes with Tell Old Bill my day will be complete.

Even those Guilds have trouble keeping their B strings in tune.
