Back, Scud Back Light Olive 1/8
Under Body, Lead Tape
Body, Olive Hares Mask Fur and Light Olive UV Ice Dub
Thorax, Natural Fur Fox Squirrel and Brown Olive Ice Dub
Colour Thorax and Head with a Brown Permanent

Great lessons on dubbing. I have caught fish on scuds and enjoy. A pleasure watching you tie. I always use Danville pre-waxed thread so that if I break the thread, it will hold. Is there a reason you don't like this kind of thread?

Hi Altoidsonly12,
I've friends that fish for mullet a lot and they use trout flies to catch them. Black is one of the best colours and one fly that's used a lot is a Zulu but they also use weighted nymph like a pheasant tail and hare's lug..I would also try some shrimp patterns as well....
