Nice one! I just inherited one of these (same year and colour!) from my wife's uncle who owned it from brand new. Been standing for 6 years and needs a fair bit of re-commissioning (brakes, tyres etc) but is 100% stock and in really great condition. I'm new to big bikes so nice to know it's sedate at low revs.
Thanks, nice to get one that's been owned from new and 100% stock (I'd imagine that's pretty rare these days). It will make a great 1st big bike, really well mannered and easy to ride fast or slow, enjoy it👍
You ride those b roads like a BOSS! Love it! I got a new GSXR 1000 which is great but I find myself out on my 2000 zx6r or my 1999 r6 more! They are great fun!! Keep the content coming buddy! I’m a new subscriber 👍
One of the often unmentioned benefits of 20+ year old bikes is you not only get them cheap they don't realy loose any value however often you want to change for something new. You can go through a lot of different bikes over the summer months for very little cost. (ride them in winter and they will turn to shit overnight)
Hi, yes all stock gearing. It had an end can on when I bought it (sounded nice but a bit too loud for me) so I put the stock one back on, which seemed to liven it up a touch👍
ZX9 is very fast!--143 bhp but built for the road and not the track!-That's why flashy new bikes don't make you smile as much as £2000 early Blade or Z9????

Cheers! It is true right, the older bikes just have a certain charm about them👍

Nice vid..... I've recently bought one of these and you're right that are refreshingly simple and fun to ride👍
Sounds mint! Can’t wait to see it in the flesh in a few weeks!
Cheers dude, hopefully get some good weather for when you are over👍
Good to see a new vid. What tyres are fitted?
Thanks, yeah it has been a while. They are Michelin Power Cup 2's
Do you have stock gearing/sprockets? just curious haha it seems to come up easy for you
