Its such a shame, use to be a lovely town centre but I blame the council. BCP have let it slip completely. Its not the peoples fault but there is so little help in this town

Places like swanage, weymouth, salisbury, winchester are more busy with more shops than bournemouth now.

The town centre has been ruined by rents and council neglect. Like most towns the big department stores have pulled out. But areas like Westbourne and Southbourne are booming. I lived in Margate few years back and it was a total shithole but people raved about it because it had a Turner Gallery 😂😂

Good to see you doing your homework, these seaside towns do ok during season, then it all falls down, no spare money coming in to support the homeless, small business owners etc, It's back to hard living.

Thank you mate, even if its just awareness, I had this idea a couple months ago, to go round documenting and speaking to some homeless people around bournemouth/ boscombe. Never got to it but glad you did. You should hold some conversations with some of the homeless, we all know a lot of the time it is drugs, but theres always more to it, a lot of pain, a lot of traumatized children that are now the homeless adults you see out here, can open some peoples minds that we are all human.

@@ringovision when I finish my small catering kitchen I dont mind feeding the homeless because I was helped years ago after I spent 10 years as a British traveller. I'd still help someone if they asked me for help.
I lived in Bournemouth, i was a bmxer and there was good street riding there, i personally loved it there.

Boscombe is nowhere near as bad as people make out. It's safer than most areas of London and has a reputation dating back to the 80s and 90s when it was populated by lots of Scousers and other Northerners.
