    Everything that you do matters, chopping vs slicing....etc., etc., they all have different tastes and influences! Everything is consequential. I'm so glad you brought that up. Everyone should know and think about that. OMG, I want. Such a beautiful finish. I love this season! Time for rejuvenation! I hope I heal and rejuvenate well this Winter. Onions are so healthy. For those that don't drink, what can you substitute the beer with?

    • @djolekosic
      @djolekosic 3 месяца назад +4

      The alcohol cooks out, you just use the beer to deglaze and for a bit of flavor :) You can use alcohol free beer, and also you can deglaze with water/stock if you really want to avoid beer altogether. I've seen some people suggest apple cider, citrus juices and vinegar as alternatives too.

    • @DrRonaldSIpock
      @DrRonaldSIpock 3 месяца назад +2

      any liquid except bleach or ammonia. You could use water but why waste the flavor-opportunity to deglaze with a flavorless liquid? Use stock, or a vinegar, or even some fruit juice. Living in the desert as I do, I normally use a chili purée.
