Finally... I am able to do this stitch. What other tutorials failed to mention is the twisting motion. You can't do it without it. Believe me, if you don't incorporate the twists it just looks like a single crochet all the way across. I saved this tutorial.

I have watched numerous videos on how to do the reverse single crochet. YOURS is the one that finally enabled me to master the stitch. Thank you so much for the clear explanation. I played it at 75% speed over and over until I did the stitch correctly. And, your suggestion to prepare for the stitch by first doing a row of single crochet also helped quite a bit. Thank you very much.

Thank you for this video. I love that you don't talk too much, but rather just do the stitch over and over slowly.. THAT'S fantastic.

Thank you so much for making a slow motion video with not a lot of talking....I'm having a hard time with this one and it's nice just to be able to watch you work through the stitch.

Five thumbs up! Superb explanation! You took the time and got in close so that anyone can see EXACTLY WHICH STITCH YOU WERE USING! LOVE LOVE LOVE THAT! I know how to crotch and had a brain injury and in order to get back to a decent function picked up the hook! Repetition is a great way to retain the brain. But occasionally I Getty confused. Where others take for granted everyone knows what stitch there taking about (when you get in the stitch trenches it can be confusing especially for newbies. When I taught others how to..before injury they saw string strung. Never sure what a loo was compared to another they were looking at. Lol now I get it. THANK YOU FOR taking the time! And I completely enjoyed the extra commentary at the end.. B-)
HAPPY NEW YEAR & GOD BLESS YOU ALL~

Excellent video for this stitch. And it's a wonderful edging for a variety of applications. I think it's practically required for cardigans on the button front edges. And it's beautiful.
