@@33caprica33 I saw that tab for the 3 open chords but I came up with a better tab to clean it up so you can have more control over the sustain of each note and it sounds a lot better since there is less extra noise like you get with open notes. Tune the bass in DADG tuning then the tab goes like this:

@@macparoo Music, or track, is definitely the right word for it. The chorals are just 'backing' to add atmosphere - there's no singing involved.

Hearing this in Halo 2 during "Delta Halo" made it feel like a walk in the woods. Of course with the occasional sound of Grunts, Jackels, Elites screaming and flying by as they are blasted away by a Scorpion.
On legendary, Halo Delta gave me nightmares with the jackal sniper valley though ^^.

Halo CE is the most nostalgic, while halo 2A is my favorite
The bass is the main thing that makes this a masterpiece, no other official version of this song has topped it to this day for 20 years.
It’s literally impossible for me to choose a favorite version of Walk in the woods. Then again every version has a different vibe so it all depends on the mood

This has a little bit of an Eric Serra feel about it. But thankfully not cut so short in this particular scenario.

It was a VERY enthusiastic walk.
It was northern Canada in 2006, I was stuck in a hotel during a blizzard - I had lots of work to do though, and this song was on, while the wind and snow howled outside.
