Just to let you know from one who does know, the buried treasure is buried and now under literally tons of landfill. There is a pre Star Wars tip where just about every local kid managed to build an Action Man from the parts retrieved myself included, either that or they collected stars from the packaging dumped there to send off for a free Action Man. This tip is now an overgrown bog but word has got about and the farmer recently had to gate off access to the area.
Thanks for the comment. We have put this film on the back burner to concentrate on Toy Shop On Tour (which is easier subject matter to tackle) We have interviewed a few people who confirm what you said about the action men. The difficulty is the expense and logistics of digging to find anything but we still think we can tell an interesting story and follows the trail of clues. We’ll keep collecting interviews on our travels. all the best.
A lot of people reference the ET Atari game doc. There have already been toys unearthed so we know there will be something but it’s all in the story telling & the thrill of the chase.
This documentary is going to be very exciting and I think if we include Tony Robinson as a host the world would have it's eyes on it.
You're not the first to suggest it, be great to do a Time Team Star Wars dig!
So what happened? I wanna know more lol

There will be plenty of landfills full of Disney star wars toys. Because nobody wanted to buy that trash.
