I prefer the one with the long shadows. I find it more pleasing and calming for some reason. The vertical crop prior to that by the way was so unexpected and beautiful.
Always am a sucker for a great sunset photo. And you managed to get a couple of great shots with the clouds coloured. But, Image at 10.41 is the winner for my vote. Thanks for sharing again Mads.
I think landscape of boats in the foreground and building in the background worked well with the setting sun. However I felt the portrait of boat and the looming 'angry' sunset clouds works very well.
In my view no doubt, I love the second one. It is more expressive, the lines, the textures,...And those shadows balance the image better than the other photo.
My personal preference is for the longer shadows as it signals a transition in the landscape and also the richness of the grass in the image was beautiful. Loved the final images too Mads and super excited to hear your Photoshop tutorial is nearing its release date and cannot wait to purchase it
Your video makes me long for seeing rich greens again. Where I live the greens are dull at this time of the year. I preferred both of the drone images. The one with shorter shadows and yellow green fields gave a fantasy world look; the other because it had a dramatic geometric contrast. Thank you for sharing your images on this video - very refreshing to see that other parts of the world is not drying up. Anxious for the wet season to kick in.
Once again, the best thing about your vlogs is your enthusiasm. You always find the best way to compose a beautiful shot from the landscape around you. In answer to your question: I prefer the greener and longer shadows of the trees. I should have gone out this morning to shoot, but your videos are always informative and inspired. Tomorrow morning for sure.
Hey mads! I always try to find the slightest flaw in your photos but after each video I watch I realize how you always manage to find the best way to photograph the scene in front of you and make the viewer, like me, feel there as if they were looking at him through the lens of the camera. You always leave me speechless!
The picture with the longer shadows is better, IMHO. There is a lot going on in that picture compared to previous photo. Like the texture of the grass and there is nicer, more pleasing graduation from light to dark. My guess is as we transition toward autumn, the lower sun angle gives better side lighting which reveals texture. Nice work!
I like the #2 aerial shot, more drama. I also prefer the portrait version of the boat @ Sunset, it helps you focus on the 2 subjects, thanks for sharing Mads. Cheers
Swimming past... No problem to Danes, you're hardy folk. We remember that in Britain about you, especially when you used to visit us so infrequently in bygone days. 😹
Hi Mads - Love your work - Fotos as well as the videos. Learn a lot from you. I went to Denmark three times and allways loved it. Long time ago though :-) I guess I will go there again. Greetings from further down south - switzerland.
Really enjoy your blogs Mads .. my favourite edit of the boats is the first one with multiple boats then the vertical edit of the sunset with the single boat . The edit of the green field with the trees in shadow I prefer the second one with the taller grass and greener contrast. Thanks for sharing Mads 👏👏👍
Your idea of putting several photo trips into one video has worked really well and all the images are absolutely gorgeous. As for the two shots of the lonely trees, I prefer the second because with the sun lower in the sky and the grass longer it created a more three dimensional effect. They are both lovely images though. It just shows what a difference two weeks can make to the height of the sun in our northern sky. It may be August but it definitely feels like autumn here in the UK. Thanks for a really inspirational video with masses of content and beautiful images.
Superb content Mads. I like the second picture with the longer shadows more. The last image is amazing ! Looking forward tot the Photoshop tutorials !!!
I thought the sunset shot with the rye and hill would have been better shot horizontally. On the second photo I prefer the second shot with the deeper grass and shadows. Loved all the pictures with the boats.
Can i just say how incredibly cinematic the sound of the wind is at the beginning of the video? Is it even authentic? It sounds sooooooooooo good. Am i the only one who noticed? :-D
Another great video. It really inspires me to get out at sunset around where in live in Minnesota. For the drone photos, I like the one with the higher grass / deeper shadows. 👍👍
Really liked the long shadow image. Those fields looked so good. Loved the images from the sunset shown at the end from your earlier sunset. Nice golden light really reflected in the water.
Beautiful pictures as always. The last one with a single boat and vertical was my favorite. But the rest are just absolutely amazing too! Thank you for sharing!
It is said that stacking photos to reduce noise works as the square root of the # of photos. For astro, at least. So you typically want 9 or 16 shots to keep it small to process.
Love the drone shots taken from top..its so simplistic shot with balance lights and compositon.love it. Can you make a video in your further video with how to operate and fly a drone which drone is better to buy.
Hello Mads, I admire your consistency in always getting out there and taking photos and at the same time explaining why and how you take photos. Great videos!
Great shots, Mads. I really appreciate you can create nice simple images with almost nothing to work with. The drone one with trees is beautiful, does not matter if long or short shadows. Thanks for another enjoyable video!
Always great and inspirational photographs, Mads! Between the two shots of the lonely trees, I'd prefer the one with longer shadows, probably because those shadows fill the frame better.
Beautiful drone images!! :) I prefer the long shadows since show more of the trees, but I prefer the light and the colors in the image which have the shortest shadows. Well done :)
Great images as always Mads. My favourite was the sunset boats image beautiful. I really want a drone now. Fantastic linear compositions from them. Your doing a brilliant job. Great blog.
Great photos as slways Mads. Just curious but would the drone shot of the trees have worked if you'd arranged is so that the diagonal line of bushes etc exactly bisected the corners of the frame? In this sort of shot where there are so many options, how do you decide which is "right' (if there is such a thing)?
I really need a drone...🤣 I like the longer shadow photo because of the deeper greens in the field, what it a conscious choice to not make the line of the rock wall go directly from corner to corner?
Your aesthetic sense is very Scandinavian: it's all about simplicity and clean lines.
Thank you, Trevin. That's a big compliment :)
I like the photo with the long shadows and the longer grass the best. Beautiful shot!
Thanks a lot :)
That sun halo photo. Wow. Beautiful.
There are quite a few exceptional photographers on RUclips. You sir in my humble opinion are in the top three. Your imagery is quite extraordinary.
Thank you so very much, Nigel! I'm curious to know who the others are? :)

Absolutely stunning photos! Drone photo WOW!!!! All photos....STUNNING!!!
Thank you so much, as always, Victor! 🙏
I think the trees with the longer shadow is the better of the two, I love the repeating lines.
Always am a sucker for a great sunset photo. And you managed to get a couple of great shots with the clouds coloured.

Stunning sunset pictures.
Mads ,anotherWow!Love the minimal beauty!
Thank You ! Its always a pleasure to look at your photos. Awsome shots.. always
Love the sun halo over the rye field - simple yet really effective. And shorter shadows for the drone shot of the trees 👍
I love the long shadows!
That final portrait was superb Mads, mother natures copper tones really complete the composition.
In my view no doubt, I love the second one. It is more expressive, the lines, the textures,...And those shadows balance the image better than the other photo.
What a beautiful field!
Love the one with the longer shadows. The sunset photos with the boats are amazing 😆
I think I like the shot with the short shadows.
My personal preference is for the longer shadows as it signals a transition in the landscape and also the richness of the grass in the image was beautiful. Loved the final images too Mads and super excited to hear your Photoshop tutorial is nearing its release date and cannot wait to purchase it
Thank you so much, Jim! I really appreciate it!
I like all the photographs but especially the drone image with the longer shadows.

Our July was really cold and wet for the season, but the first half of August has been super hot!
Always the best captures. Congrats!!
Long shadows from the drone looks more dramatic so I prefer that ... today. Also like many, looking forward to your tutorial videos.
Thanks a lot, Jerry! I think I prefer the long shadows too :)
Absolutely beautiful and inspiring I'm leaning more towards the longer tree shadows
Thanks a lot, Wayne, I think I prefer that one too :)
Really nice and informative videos Mads. Looking forward to your Photoshop Tutorials.
I always love your tree, and your tree and field, shots. So lovely. And definitely the longer shadows, the grass looks better in that one too

Loved the first one!
Definitely long shadows !
It looks like we make us feel that photographers can compose and make the difference by their work on nature!

The Halo image is awesome Mads. Oh gosh long shadows for me.

brilliant and entertaining vlog Mads, the sunset images with the boats were stunning and as for he tree i prefer the one with the longer shadows

excellent! thank you and best regards from Poland
Nicely done! Rock on! 👍👍
Thanks Mads . Nice video and images. I personally like the portrait shots you have featured.
I thought the sunset shot with the rye and hill would have been better shot horizontally.
On the second photo I prefer the second shot with the deeper grass and shadows.
Loved all the pictures with the boats.
There wasn't enough room for a horizontal photo in the first one and thanks a lot :)
Long shadows!👍👍👍
Can i just say how incredibly cinematic the sound of the wind is at the beginning of the video? Is it even authentic? It sounds sooooooooooo good. Am i the only one who noticed? :-D
Hehe, thanks a lot! Be sure to watch my moody minimalist wide-angle video from a few months back too if you liked that sound ;)
@@MadsPeterIversen i did watch all your videos :)
Definitely the long. The longer grass gives more texture as well.
Loved the vertical crop on the drone shot!Definitely suits it!
Gorgeous collection of images Mads! Beautifully done. Great video too as always 👍
Thanks for he video. The first picture is beautiful. From the drone footage, the one with the long shadows. Thanks for sharing.

Like the first image, the sun bow, the best. Has an ethereal, almost spiritual quality.
My favorite image is the three boat sunset. Job well done overall!
Thanks a lot, Vincent! I really think it came out great too :)
Amazing photos as always. The halo one is one of my favourites ever! Congratulations, Mats!

Great video again👍 the picture in the field with de long shadow is amazing. Really like that one!
I like the short shadows one. In that one the shadows seem like they are on water.

Thanks, Bruce! I really appreciate it :)
beautiful photos Ilike so much , amazing job congratulations
All the photos I found I impressive. Hard to pick the better of the line of trees; perhaps the photo with the longer shadows.
Enjoyed the video; of the two drone shots, I preferred the one with the longer shadows.
I prefer the darker green, but I liked it best when the lines were vertical up the frame as you flew around the trees
Great shots, Mads. I really appreciate you can create nice simple images with almost nothing to work with. The drone one with trees is beautiful, does not matter if long or short shadows. Thanks for another enjoyable video!
Super imasges again. Of the 2 tree images, I prefer the one with the longer shadows.
Amazing photos!
Thanks a lot! :)
Gorgeous pictures! I like the most recent of the trees shadows on the field better! Thanks for another great video full of great info!
Beautiful in their simplicity, love the drone shot with the longer grass and shadows personally :)
The long shadow image is my favorite. The patterns of the shadow, lines in the crops, and rich green all add to this beautiful image.
Always great and inspirational photographs, Mads!

Ove the long shadow photos
You videos are always so satisfying Mads. Thank you for this content.
Thank you very much, Jamil :)
The photo of the trees with the longer shadow I felt worked better, it had more contrast where the shadows appeared deeper.
Beautiful images. Also, interesting weather; shorts and tshirt one day, jacket another.
Hehe, these small snippets were filmed over three weeks ;)
Nice! I will try it in a similar place near to my home in Spain. Unfortunately this days we can't leave home
Fantastic
Good video as always. Need to learn how you processed those pics in adobe photoshop cs6 and adobe lightroom...
5 shots & stack. I'll have to try that. Same drone and my photos do not look clean & sharp
Beautiful images and editing, Mads.
Very good content i follow u!
Cool

I really need a drone...🤣 I like the longer shadow photo because of the deeper greens in the field, what it a conscious choice to not make the line of the rock wall go directly from corner to corner?
Thanks a lot, Jason. Yes, it was conscious, I tried with one from the upper left, but it ended cramming the trees too far up in the composition.
@@MadsPeterIversen I figures that it was something like that...still want a drone. :P
