  • Learn how to connect phone to Subaru Infotainment system. I go over setting up Bluetooth for both apple and android and how to understand how the various voice recognition technologies in the vehicle and phone work together. This is a basic guide with a few lesser known tips sprinkled throughout.

I'm sure most of you know most of this, but perhaps share with that person who's always asking for help 😁 Got a few STI/WRX videos coming up.

Best explanation video of this stuff I’ve seen so far. All around, down to the point, short, concise, visual, informative and includes just the gist.

Great video! I was losing my mind trying to get to Siri and not use the car's voice command system - long press! Thank you!

I'm beyond frustrated, and hope you can help me. I have a MOTO G STYLUS 5G 2023, which replaced the MOTO G STYLUS 2021 that I had when I bought the car, a 2023 Subaru Forester Premium. However, it still identifies as my old phone. If I'm using Android Auto (phone plugged in) the voice recognition works perfectly. But, when I'm using Bluetooth, it still works, BUT the car's voice playback is muted to the point that i can barely hear anything, unless i increase the volume of my stereo. This problem does not exist in my wife's car, a 2020 Nissan Rogue SLawd, and I had the old phone when we bought it, and the new phone works perfectly with it, so I think the difficulty must be in the Subaru rather than in the phone. Please HELP!!!

Great video brother! Quick note, your voice audio goes out at about the 7:47 mark and comes back at about 8:06. Just wanted to let you know. Cheers!

The car in this video is the Subaru Ascent, not the STI.
