Alabama: *breathes*
CFB fans: “And I took that personally”
Yup. They mocked Bama for being a bunch of has-beens from 1995-2007, seethed for the next sixteen years, and are still seething. It's pretty unhealthy tbh.
Josh has on a black tee..what does it mean?
The pilgrims
he wears black tees when he's not at his main place in Tennessee, i think he's in FL rn
@ Ok that’s right traveling thanks
Traveling Josh
@ 🤷🏾♂️
Kendrick laws size is used most effectively on the outside runs where he’s a great blocker against corners and LBs
I started my CFB fan journey with Alabama. Moved to Oklahoma 25 years ago and have been a Sooner fan since the day I arrived. Has been an extremely fun 25 years to be a fan of the Sooners.
This year has been a struggle yet I understand the totality of the situation.
I am under no illusion that The Sooners are a match for the Tide this year. Still yet I have hopes. I hope to see a competitive game.
Roll Tide! Boomer Sooner!
This is a trap game for Bama! I’m glad Oklahoma is now in the SEC, will be fun playing y’all in the years to come. Roll tide
That is the point. OU fans wants OU to be competitive. That is what gives you a shot at winning games, conference titles, and championships.
Trader 😂😂 joking. Enjoy the game. Roll Tide
If OU and Okie Lite dont make a bowl game, we need to come together as a state and have our own Bedlam Bowl game at Taft Stadium 💀
What he hell happened to Okie State ?
@@cabsouth idk they have no excuse lol
Kendrick Law would be deadly out of the backfield. Unfortunately whenever he is targeted in a traditional WR role it becomes clear why they don’t incorporate him more. Plus when he gets a bubble screen he has Ryan Williams blocking for him so it doesn’t work as well as when he’s the one blocking. Now Ryan Williams is taking more of the gadget/horizontal reps. Caleb Odom is even taking more snaps away from him.
We just can’t do jet sweeps with him every time Mercer was ready for them. We can’t just force him the ball. Guys like Ryan Williams n benard are deep ball guys we’ve been getting law the ball.
Yeah, I'd like to find a way to utilize him like the 49ers utilize Deebo, but K-Law can't catch a cold in winter. But good lord, can he block better than most TE's.
@@jslane41 Great assessment. Law is like a Deebo type of player, if he can find his handle on the ball he could be the best playmaker (outside of Milroe and Williams) that Bama has and he could gash them in ways that Williams can't.
Bama will play great this weekend! They cover for sure.
Damn sure better to get out of there with a W....
I’m sure Coach Venables has the Sooners well prepared and ready for a big fight. Excited for the matchup because it’s two big programs and not a game we’re used to seeing with much frequency. Hoping for no major injuries for either team.

You obviously haven't watched any OU games this year. They haven't been well prepared all season.
@@PatBrooks-u6w I'd argue they were against Ole Miss, Tennessee, and Missouri. They've honestly opened up games fairly well, with the exception of the SC game. I think they had a chance to go ahead against Tennessee with the ball on the 5 (or maybe tie? I can't remember), they lead Texas almost the entire first quarter and lost the game because of back-to-back fumbles by two true freshmen that led to touchdowns (they wouldn't have won anyway, but score would've been more respectable). They were beating Ole Miss and Mizzou at half. If anything, it's a lack of halftime adjustments along with untimely turnovers by the young players that had killed OU all season. I would say they have been prepared out the gate for the most part.
Thanks for the no injuries wishes but you are about 3 months late lol.
Oklahoma is going to play their best game of the season, no doubt in my mind. 31-12 Bama
@@paulbednar9017 A 19 point loss = Oklahoma's best game of the season. Yeah, OU football is a joke in 2024.
He said “I got Bama winning by 11” and then proceeds to predict the score to be 26-10 lol😂 he covered the spread he thought was too high
All the stats heavily favor Alabama in this game, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's a dog fight. I still think Alabama wins ugly something like 30-16
OU hurts to watch this year….was at the Missouri game and it broke my spirit.
I think it should be noted, Oklahoma has the 18 best defense rank but they played one of the hardest schedules in the nation.. so they’re probably better than the ranking ..
great show I just found it, thanks
No way Oklahoma can beat Alabama. Now that Alabama is playing the way were capable ain't nobody gonna beat us.
Go Bama
Vandy 🤔
Vandy says hello
@@ATLCaneBama says hi to Georgia
RTR
Bama is gonna get a whipped by the Sooners!!!!
Outside of Mississippi State there are no easy wins in the SEC. Bama had best be playing their “A” game in Norman. The Oklahoma Sooners are not pretty on paper, but they have NFL caliber athletes that can go toe to toe with any team in the country.
49-0 Bama
OU seniors play their final game in Norman this Saturday after coming off a much-needed bye, and their coach is literally fighting for his job. Bama's flyin' high, with folks singin' their praises and already placing them in Atlanta. This is Rat Poison™, folks. We gotta treat OU like the legacy they've earned over the last 50+ years, or it's Vandy all over again. Gimme the Tide by 17. RMFT!!!
It don't even matter. With SEC bias Bama will still make the playoff with another loss. What's the point?
@@jimjason5146 y’all have been yelling about SEC bias for a decade now, and for 18 years straight the SEC has sent more players to the draft than any other conference, won more championships than any other conference, and this year especially has more quality teams than any other conference. give it a rest😂
Bama 41 OU 10
Kendrick Law has always reminded me of Deebo Samuel. Big, physical and versatile. Would like to see Bama utilize him more in creative ways.
Kendrick Law is a key aspect of some very creative plays and I think we've only seen flashes. I expect more and more especially if Bama makes the playoff
Roll Tide 🅰️🐘🅰️🐘🅰️🐘🅰️
Sooner magic happening this weekend?
This is one of those games where if you go it’d be a boring blowout, but if you don’t go it’ll be one of the craziest games of the year 😂
Oklahoma fans just want to see a competitive game and see that we're on the right track going forward.
Thats it
OU has steadily improving all year, they’re fighting for bowl eligibility and they’re at home. Gimme the Sooners!!
Yes!!!
ROLL TIDE ROLL FOREVER AND ALWAYS
Except in Knoxville..
This should be a blowout win for bama. However, you have Oklahoma who is one win away from getting bowl eligibility plus it’s their seniors last home game. This is another trap game but bama should pull away with it
It's not a trap game. OU sucks.
@ I know but still
Milroe better 'use them legs!' #roadTo19
As a Bama fan this game scares me. Milroe is a great athlete but IMO he isn't a great QB. If he starts out the game 4/5 then we'll be good, but if he starts out 1/5 then watch out. It really does kind of feel like a coin flip with him from game to game.
These last 2 games aren't guaranteed wins for Bama.
Be balanced on offense.
Sound in defense.
Roll tide!!
Especially since Auburn will upside the Tide.
I can’t believe we not using Kendrick law a ton
A slight step up from Mercer 😂
What an amazing analysis
Mercer is 9-2 LMAO!!!
I keep waking up in the middle of the night thinking Bama beats OK and Auburn, and then loses the SEC Champ game on a bad call and gets left out of the playoffs!🥴🥴🥴
After they handed Missouri a win Oklahoma had in its hands in the last seconds, I’d almost be pissed to see them rise up against Alabama.
As an OU fan, I am eondering where 13 points will come from. Scoop and score or pick 6 and missed xp?
Alabama by at least 14 points. It might be close the first quarter then
Bama will start pulling away. Make no mistake however Oklahoma will be sky high!
At half it will be 17-6 Bama. Then 31-9 at the end
It did look good in AUG. didn't it Josh. Anybody want to buy those 50 yardline seats I bought back then. Ah well, It's likely my last chance to go to a Tide game live.
That commercial is strange
Negative. Roll Tide!
BAMA 52 OK 13
Bama 31 Oklahoma 12
Oklahoma scores a touchdown? 😂
OU to upset at home! Calling it now.
OU is going to be upset at home.
Bama's "identity" is getting their offensive athletes in space. Whatever it takes. Their defense is predicated on forcing turnovers.
It sends fans of teams like Georgia into a tizzy.
“We beat them by 15, in Austin! Why are we ranked below them?”
There is no denying that Texas lost at home to Georgia.
There is no denying that Texas does not have a single win over a top-25 team (we’re looking at you Michigan and OU).
There is no denying that Texas’ strength of schedule is below that of some of the two-loss teams ranked below them.
But here is what all of those people ranting and raving (we’re looking at you Booger McFarland) have missed out on ... they are asking the wrong question.
You can look at every team below Texas in the rankings and come up with a litany of questions that justify them being below the Horns.
Georgia, if you’re so darn good, what were you doing giving up 30 first-half points to Alabama? If you’re such a juggernaut, why were you only to muster 245 yards and 10 points against Ole Miss?
What about you Bama? What are you doing losing to Vanderbilt? You let the Commodores run up and down the field against you and gave up 40 points. If Jalen Milroe is the reincarnation of Joe Namath, how come he led the team to only 17 points in the loss to Tennessee?
And you, Ole Miss. You are the most befuddling of them all. What the heck are you doing losing to Kentucky? The Wildcats have exactly one conference win this season and it’s against you. Almost as crazy was the overtime loss to LSU. What is going on late in games that your defense seems to brain fart and you lose late leads to inferior teams?
Georgia, Alabama and Ole Miss are all incredibly good teams. You can pull up just about any advanced metric you want to confirm that. But you need look no further than the win/loss record to confirm that you’re not perfect.
“We just looked at them (Texas) and thought - and came out, I should say, with them at 3,” said College Football Playoff selection committee chairman Warde Manuel. “It’s nothing against Georgia. Georgia is a great team, but they did struggle against Ole Miss at Ole Miss but had a great win this past week against Tennessee. We will continue to monitor both teams and see how it goes in the next few weeks.”
Forget who has Texas lost to. What about, who have you lost to? Or, who has Texas NOT lost to?
You know who Texas hasn’t lost to? They haven’t lost to Colorado State (which is on the verge of making the Mountain West Conference championship game). They haven’t lost to Michigan. They haven’t lost to UTSA, UL Monroe, Mississippi State, Oklahoma, Vanderbilt, Florida and Arkansas.
There is NO truly embarrassing loss on Texas résumé.
Texas has, for the most part, handled its business.
The Horns have gone out each and every week and did what they needed to win.
When the Texas offense was struggling in Fayetteville last week, the defense did what it’s done all season and shut the Razorbacks down. Arkansas has the second-best total offense in the SEC, but not against Texas. And the offense came through in the end. When Arkansas looked like it was finally waking up, Texas responded with a touchdown drive to make it a two-score game again and then they put together a nearly seven-minute drive to ice the game.
Texas did not let the emotions of the loss to Georgia carry over the next week to Vanderbilt. The Commodores needed a last-minute touchdown (which only came after a bone-headed penalty which did not impact the play wiped out a pick-six) to make that game look much more respectable than it was.
Texas did not let “The Big House” intimidate them as the Horns gave Michigan one of their worst losses of the season (the 19-point margin of defeat is comparable to the 21-point margin of defeat Oregon scored against them).
Texas has handled its business.
And you know who has taken notice of that while asking all of the right questions? The CFP selection committee.
“Well, obviously Georgia has a very good win at Texas, but as the committee analyzed the body of work of Texas versus where Georgia is at the present time with two losses, even to top-25 teams, we came out that Texas was still a very strong team deserving of a 3 seed,” said Warde Manuel, the CFP selection committee co-chair. “They have a top-5 defense. Quinn Ewers is leading one of the top passing offenses in the country.”
Ward mentioned how strong Texas is, including the elite defense. When you look at all of the advanced metrics, Texas is one of the top teams in the country in just about every one of them.
FEI RATINGS:
Overall: 3rd
Offensive: 11th
Defensive: 1ST
Special Teams: 46th
SP+ RANKINGS:
Overall: 3rd
Offensive: 5th
Defensive: 2nd
Special Teams: 106th
Apart from the special teams, which was pretty eye-opening when I saw those numbers, Texas has shown itself to be elite and worthy of the rankings it currently holds.
Of course, none of this matters if Texas goes out and loses to Kentucky this week (just like Ole Miss did and Georgia almost did).
As a Texas fan, Texas will not compete far into In the playoffs.
Ewers is a liability for thiis team, dude is a statue, and is terrified of any rush, doesn't plant his feet, constantly over throws the deep ball, doesn't do his check downs, and only throws to main option regardless of coverage. Since the injury he has regressed and hurt this team. If it wasn't for our #1 defense, we would have 3 losses by now.
Texas will get exposed again against better teams, like they did against GA.
I'm not even believing I'm gonna say this, I'm not sure we beat the gaggies if ewers plays like he has been. If we lose to them, good chance we are out of the playoffs.
I will be glad when Quinn leaves this team so we can move onto a better QB.
Everyone is right, Texas hasn't played well, our wins in the SEC were not dominant, save Florida and OU.
Hook'Em
Sorry sooners...we going for a championship...
Bama 42-13
Kendrick Law can't get open. No doubt he is a specimen but cant catch or get open to save his life
Josh what the hell man with the black shirt cuz
Unfortunately K Law can’t catch
Yea he can
Alabama 45 Oklahoma 10
Bama will blow the Sooners out. 38-10
Law and Odom are keys. We are NOT going to beat the better defenses running the football, especially turning around and handing the ball off 30-35 times a game.. But we WILL get beat IF we dont. Figure it out. Jam+Justice are NOT explosive enough(Nor is Young),quick enough,or elusive enough to get that done. But IF we just ignore the RB run game, just run Jalen,or drop him back 30-45 times in a ballgame at the same depth and the same platform? There is your recipe for getting your asses beat. Guaranteed...
Keep hammering at them. Run some more Play-action stuff, and keep throwing quicks. And remember TIDE fans. IF we could/would run TRUE RPO,ala Tua,Bryce, and Mac? We would be damn near unstoppable offensively(Except for the shit officiating of course weekly). And that would get not only Ryan+Germie up the field more often, but would also incorporate a guys like Law+Prentice more often. Then people couldnt stuff boxes on us,nor utilize as many run blitzes and overload pass pressures on us. They wouldnt dare if we had the "Over their head/Behind their backs" game in the intermediate zone. THAT would truly open up our run concepts, even though we do NOT have an ELITE RB room.
Alabama 52, Oklahoma 0
Nobody is putting up 52 on Oklahoma in Norman. I'll take that bet.
Yes
@@danielargo7221 yes we is
Nah it’ll be closer and I’m a Bama fan . Maybe like 31-13
Against one of the best defenses in college football, not a chance
I’m hoping my Sooners pull out the biggest upset this year in Norman. We aren’t fighting for a natty or anything but pride.
The only thing in store for your Sooners is the good old Sarah McLachlan special😂
Hope is all you have.
Would it be an upset? Yes. Upset of year? Not even close.
@ it absolutely would be. It would knock Alabama completely out of the playoffs and shake up the sec a bit. It’s not as impossible as some think either.
@@Oklahomaman94 Yeah everything you said is Absolutely right it would be great but the only problem is that OK is straight Buns and can't stop a cold defensively.
Give me Bama with a -28 spread and I'm still taking it in this game. DeBore with his back against the wall (purely record wise and not job security wise) and that talented roster... this Bama is dangerous
45-17 BAMA
32-ZIP
Bama is gonna get curb stomped by the mighty Oklahoma Sooners!!!!

@ don’t worry about anything except what you’re gonna do after losing to us on Saturday.
@@marruz0 whatever helps you sleep at night buddy

I predict 45-14 or something like that. We are about to explode
As an Oklahoma grad I see Alabama by 30+ 😭
I don't think that's gonna happen. Yall are still Oklahoma and we're in Norman at night a week before Auburn. I just hope yall don't drag us into a dogfight late into the 4th.

OU isn't an SEC team. Never will be. This is an out-of-conference game. 🤣🤣🤣
This is going to get so ugly. My team about to finish 5-7 with embarrassing home losses to Tenn and Bama :-)))))
It would be such a glorious thing to see if Oklahoma somehow manages a win against Alabama and the entire SEC meat rider coalition has to come out for the next 72 hours pontificating about how elite Oklahoma is so that’s why Alabama should actually get boosted to #1 for such a quality lose.
that’s not happening
Show me on the doll where Alabama hurt you 😭😭😭
The last word should be loss, not lose. Roll Tide Roll!!
I love these types of comments because you don't realize you just told everyone how Alabama and the entire SEC has been living rent free in your head for quite some time.

@@thenatedawg2448 Seriously? Ya'll didn't play Ole Miss, Georgia, Tenn, or Bama... foh.
Must have been a south wind that day blowing that texASS smell up here.
As a long time Sooner fan, this years team is an absolute embarrassment. The only bad thing that hasn’t happened yet is something that likely will this game. I expect the OU defense to just quit, sort of like what happened in 2009 in Lubbock. Very strong defense, hampered by an inept offense, just quitting because it doesn’t make sense to play hard for no reason at all. The end of the season just can’t get here quick enough. Again, absolute embarrassed by my team.
Oklahoma is a program in decline. They will be a mid level SEC program from now on.
