They actually shot some scenes at my elementary school before the show even aired and my family just hung out with Daniel Curtis Lee’s dad and talked about his son’s acting career for like an hour. Adam Hicks seemed like a really shy and timid guy and I ended getting his autograph (which at the time was literally just his name written in print). Meanwhile Hutch Dano was screaming at the crew in between almost every take.

The one joke that always sticks out in my mind is where Zeke is trying to get a skateboarding master (who of course knows karate or kung fu or whatever), and he asks this asian mailman who is just like, "What? You think just because I'm asian I know kung fu? I mean... _I do..._ but that's pretty racist."

The day this show ended was really the end of the great era of when Disney XD was just getting started. I loved Kickij' It, Pair of Kings, both Suite Lifes, the original Lab Rats and endless re-runs of Phineas and Ferb, but Zeke and Luther was my favorite. Yes, it was silly, but it was the right kind of silly. Growing up an only child, I immersed myself in the show and felt like a skateboarder. I took up skateboarding as a result during the summer. But the show was downright hilarious. The jokes still make me laugh so hard and even my parents enjoyed it as well, though they found it silly at times. Every character was so well written, especially Kojo who probably ranks as my favorite character. Ozzy being one of the funniest whenever he and Kojo were together. I miss this show so much.
This show was literally my childhood, I would literally watch this on repeat, all the reruns, and new episodes, to the point where my dad was like “you just watched this episode, why are you watching it again, I recently found out they put it on Disney plus, and binged it all over again, and it was emotional

The only thing I can consciously remember from this show is the episode where Zeke was running for mayor or something and then Luther sabotaged it by mentioning he was born in Japan, disqualifying him from running. Now this always had me hyped, would be so excited when a new episode would come out.
My brother and I hated each other and only when we watched Zeke and Luther we could actually get along. This show is truly magical

The only thing I can consciously remember from this show is the episode where Zeke was running for mayor or something and then Luther sabotaged it by mentioning he was born in Japan, disqualifying him from running.
I now realize American naturalization laws would’ve applied since a parent has to be an American citizen.
