By chance do you know if there is a difference between the 2021 and 2022 version of the xtrada 7? Because I like this color way better however I don’t want to loose out on anything.
Ive had 2 Polygon bikes now, they are well built for the price. Whats cool is their bikes have fairly modern geometries, even at the lower pricepoints.
Thanks bro. Not sure about the 36t chainring, unfortunately I already returned the bike. But you may be able to chat with someone from bikesonline.com to verify for you.
Brakes are fine but I did not have a good experience with the fork. I just found it harsh and rebound was way too slow. Also mine leaked suspension fluid. It is a budget fork and it's probably something you're gonna want to upgrade down the road anyhow.
You can put a bit more weight on the front.. and get the body a little looser... loosen up your legs... and let go of the brakes a bit more for those sandy descents. trust your bike and it's geometry... you will be able to handle it.
I'm sure that will work. Dropping a rigid fork shouldn't really affect bottom bracket height, so I don't think you need to worry about pedal strikes. That said, I think its best to keep this bike as designed ie. XC hardtail with a 120mm fork. If you really want to go the rigid route, maybe check out Polygon's Bend gravel bike? That bike is KILLER! I absolutely love mine! Perfect for roads and mellow trails!
My personal experience has been positive. That is the one thing I really liked about the Suntour fork, I thought their thru-axle design is nice. Running the same axle on the Suntour Raidon on my Rocky Mountain Growler and so far have had zero issues.
Nice colour👍

What do you think about bikes? Are they good polygon bikes? How does the front shock absorber function well from your riding experience?

Nice footage and lovely bike. Can you chance the chainring with 36t ?

I'm thinking to buy the xtrada 7, just want to know how is the suspension?? Is it smooth??
And also are the brakes good?

Is it possible to change the fork to rigid? Or does the pedal strikes the floor if i do that?

Any one had problem with removing front 15mm Q lock through axle ?

Polygon quality is good, welds are solid and geometry is pretty up to date. I didn't have good experience with stock fork though.
