Not very many people think of Ymir as their favorite character but I do. I honk part of the reason is that we have so much in common, so many parts of her life parallel mine exactly.
I still don't understand her character fully. It's like she's constantly in conflict with herself.

She really only cared about Historia and didn’t want to transform unless it was her last chance at her and Historia’s survival. I’m sure she wanted to keep her Titan shifting ability a secret until the day she died had she not been cornered like that

One, I love the English dud roar! That shit puts hair on your chest and goosebumps on your arms.
Two, the chirp of Christa's voice isn't that much of a problem, even with headphones. I feel like it helps me to get the emotion they're trying to convey in the scene. It's harder to pickup in the original Japanese.
Anyone else prefer the Ymir's dub roar compared to the sub? Her dub roar actually sounds intimidating, while the sub sounds like an old hag screaming

Well she was a pure titan for around 60 years so she never really trained to be a Titan shifter so she just shifted to her pure titan form and the titans of the shifters look different from shifter to shifter like how armins colossus titan looks different from bertolts colossus titan
