How come you wired in series rather than in parallel? Not criticising. Just curious as I'm debating which kind of connection I should go with for mine. Thank you! Looking forward to Part 2
nice job, love it! I actually over thought mine and a damn tank can roll on it, weighs as much as a small truck lol. Going to start a new one now with led lights and fog. I will try your design only with aluminum to try and shave more weight.
Very slick. I was starting to design my own when I found your video. I'm glad I waited. Lots of great ideas. One question for you. Do you feel like the quarter inch plexi is thick enough? would you go with half if you made another one? I know it does a quite a bit to the cost. Thanks!
Hey there this is awesome! The led strips you link to are gone it looks like, will any that say 12v work? Did you just cut off the plug on them and connect your own wires to it and power supply?
Any LED strips should do. The lights I used didn't have any connectors, but you should be able to remove the connectors or use another connector to make to them.
Dope box dude. I made a similar (albeit less complicated but also.less cool) box for.my band Va Va Voom and have a tutorial vid on my channel. The fox is a nice touch!
Brilliant band choices in your background🤘🤘
Love this! Dying for part 2... can't wait to make some of my own. Thanks for the tips
Thanks! Part 2 will be coming soon!
This is awesome, man! My band is wanting to start using these for our shows. Looking forward to Part 2!
Also, do you by chance have or know where I can find a wiring diagram for the switches? Thank you very much!
No wiring diagram right now, but I'll put one together in the future. It's pretty simple though, the switch just closes the connection to ground.

It was just easier to wire the LED strips on the panels in series. Parallel would probably be a better option though in case one strip goes out.
Fantastic video bud. Very inspiring

This is amazing as well. Damn. Love it!!!
Great job. Also, I have that shirt 😆
this is super cool man. Thank you. ever consider an on/off kick switch for the stage?
I would like to build these, and looking at the parts list, the LED strips link is dead. Do you have recommendations for which LED strips to use?
This weekends project...

Thanks. If I did it again, I'd probably go with 1/2" Plexi. 1/4" has held up fine, but does flex.

Is there any way to make the lights change color?
You would have to use RGB LED's and use some sort of controller to change them.

How much did this cost to make about?
It's been a while, but I would say probably $100 - $150
😱
Do you sell these?
Unfortunately I do not.
Please let me know if you’d consider making one of these for me!!
I’d be interested in purchasing a pair. Please reach out!
