Best podcast, I dated a guy from eastern Europe and there’s nothing like that way of thinking. Seeing things the way they are without excuses or romance and taking action to get what they want
Very inspirational. My parents and I came to the US from Ukraine when I was 3, with $30 in their pockets, and I watched the work and perseverance. And my mom still fed me real food, still made sure I always had warm clothes (even if donation, on sale, etc). And now I am a doctor. And my parents managed to pay for part of my education, now they l go on 2 vacations a year, buy nice clothes and eat out at good restaurants. And that’s all because of their hard work. They walked the walk, showing me what it means to work and keep working even when you want to quit, and what kind of life you can live by just working hard and not being wasteful. That’s a big thing, work hard, make money, but don’t throw it away, never be in debt unless you know you can pay it off for sure (ie college loans). Love this story, I hope it inspires people the way my parents did for me.
Thank you for sharing this story, that’s definitely all I need to hear now, as an emigrant who’s been in America for just 4 months. Motivation and inspirational story💛
Love this podcast! It's inspiring! I also came to the US by myself with only $100, and I agree with everything discussed in this episode. Being born here is a privilege! Not having SNN(visa) is another huge challenge for someone who wants to stay here and work.
In the world where are sold the idea that Fake is Beautiful, to have an opinion that is opposite isn’t easy. More plastic on our faces only shows how much we don’t accept ourselves!
