If things go really well for you there stay a while. But please look into medical facilities there because you will need support even if things go well. When i was young and went to church I remember kids wanting sneakers and asking why they don't get them if t they wer spraying for them. I learned Hod doesn't give material things just because you ask for it. The relationship between us and god is not one where just because we ask for 1 million dollars he'll give it to us overnight. I would implore you to never test Jesus/God for the Bible tells us: Deuteronomy 6:16 "You shall not put the Lord your God to the test, as you tested him at Massah. -and Jesus said: Matthew 4:7 Jesus said to him, "Again it is written, ‘You shall not put the Lord your God to the test.’" I would instead encourage you to read Hebrews chapter 11: “Faith is what makes real the things we hope for. It is proof of what we cannot see. God was pleased with the people who lived a long time ago because they had faith like this. Faith helps us understand that God created the whole world by his command. This means that the things we see were made by something that cannot be seen. Cain and Abel both offered sacrifices to God. Of course, he wanted those great people to be made perfect too, but not before we could all enjoy that blessing together.” Hebrews 11:1-40 I am ashamed and embarrassed to say that I wanted to take my own life just about one year ago today. At literally the end of my rope, I had two options: 1) go into my closet, cinch a belt around my neck and hang my self or 2) get on my knees and call out to Jesus. Needless to say, Jesus saved me three times that day. He saved me from a physical death on earth, he saved me from eternal death had I taken my own life by the sinful act of suicide, and most importantly, He gave me the gift of ETERNAL LIFE by my acceptance of Him as my Lord and Saviour and His voluntary sacrifice on the cross. We all have our struggles. We don’t know why we have the struggles we have - only God knows. I believe God doesn’t cause all of the challenges in our lives but He uses them to reveal what’s inside us. It is in this refining that we are made more like Him. God had been calling to me my whole life and it took me to be at my very lowest before I truly, finally accepted HIM and I can honestly say I have never been happier and never been more at peace. I have a RELATIONSHIP with Jesus now and that is what sustains me. I hope I haven’t overstepped my bounds here but since my conversion I feel I have been called to reach out to people on social media. Well... I really don't think being an atheist is easier! It's easier to believe that God has a plan for you, there's an afterlife, you'll live eternally in God's glory, ger to be with your loved ones again... it's comforting, Vs "there's nothing and you're f***ed". You literally just described God, in the simplest form ever, but you don't want to speak the name of the power! God is yay or nay and he is the life that is you, and he doesn't need the lottery to provide for you. I respect what you want to do, but time is limited to months by the Disease that is afflicting your body, so if you are testing your faith, focus on your health that is the most important, ask for proof that is going to contribute to the lengthening of your life. When you pray, this may help, take a note book, and write a prayer of all that is afflicting your life now, and when you are done, speak it out aloud, on days that you can't write, pray from that day and God knows it's not the flower part of the rose that you are experiencing right now, but the thorns that afflicting you, pray what the thorns are, don't try to be roses when, that's not your truth. Doctors honestly IMO, shouldn’t tell a patient anything they wouldn’t tell the person they love most in the world in terms of hope and options regarding their health. G be an advocate and ask daily for new trials.
Some patients want to know so they can be prepared. Settle affairs and spend their time wisely. My dad wanted to know and being a healthcare professional he had some idea on his own too about what to expect. My dad in law didnt want to hear it. So every patient is different .

God isn't going to " pay you" so you'll believe in him. It doesn't happen that way. He's already given his only son so that those who believe on him will have eternal life. So, he's not going to be blackmailed or anything else. I've been born again for almost 40 years. Had a mom that was pregnant with me, while regularly attending church. I come from a Christian background. God and his fellowship is as real to me as any living, breathing human being. Only divine and powerful. Listen to your wife. Ask her why she believes as she does. Those who are born again remain in christ for a reason. It's not only because scripture tells us to. It's because the lord reveals himself to us in a very personal way. He knows us and he loves us. And whatever we go through he goes through with us. Blessings.

He's very thin and weak from his cancer ravaging his body. Cancer cells multiply very rapidly and they steal the nutrients that your normal cells need.
Pray to Jesus Christ and ask Him to reveal Himself to you if He is the Lord God. He suffered and died on the cross of calvary for my wicked sins and failures as well as yours and the rest of humanity.

You are a good man. You have chosen to reject the prognosis which I can understand. But you are still being responsible and putting your affairs in order . We all need to but for you the urgency is greater , because life is less predictable . I hope if you do go to Nicaragua you dont come back for a while. If things go really well for you there stay a while. But please look into medical facilities there because you will need support even if things go well. Is your wife living in a big city with a good hospital?

When i was young and went to church I remember kids wanting sneakers and asking why they don't get them if t they wer spraying for them. I am ashamed and embarrassed to say that I wanted to take my own life just about one year ago today. At literally the end of my rope, I had two options: 1) go into my closet, cinch a belt around my neck and hang my self or 2) get on my knees and call out to Jesus. Needless to say, Jesus saved me three times that day. He saved me from a physical death on earth, he saved me from eternal death had I taken my own life by the sinful act of suicide, and most importantly, He gave me the gift of ETERNAL LIFE by my acceptance of Him as my Lord and Saviour and His voluntary sacrifice on the cross.
We all have our struggles. We don’t know why we have the struggles we have - only God knows. I believe God doesn’t cause all of the challenges in our lives but He uses them to reveal what’s inside us. It is in this refining that we are made more like Him. God had been calling to me my whole life and it took me to be at my very lowest before I truly, finally accepted HIM and I can honestly say I have never been happier and never been more at peace. I have a RELATIONSHIP with Jesus now and that is what sustains me.
I hope I haven’t overstepped my bounds here but since my conversion I feel I have been called to reach out to people on social media. As a fellow human being, I want only the best for you and that includes a relationship with Christ…for You!

You literally just described God, in the simplest form ever, but you don't want to speak the name of the power! God is yay or nay and he is the life that is you, and he doesn't need the lottery to provide for you. I respect what you want to do, but time is limited to months by the Disease that is afflicting your body, so if you are testing your faith, focus on your health that is the most important, ask for proof that is going to contribute to the lengthening of your life. When you pray, this may help, take a note book, and write a prayer of all that is afflicting your life now, and when you are done, speak it out aloud, on days that you can't write, pray from that day and God knows it's not the flower part of the rose that you are experiencing right now, but the thorns that afflicting you, pray what the thorns are, don't try to be roses when, that's not your truth. When he got diagnosed, the doc told him his cancer was terminal but he refused to believe him. Instead, he decided that he was going to heal by visualising a healthy version of himself from a parallel reality of the quantum universe. Anyway, given his situation I say, good for him. Everyone's got their own coping mechanisms, if that's what works for him so be it. Apparently his romance with this young woman is literally what's been keeping him going.

God isn't going to " pay you" so you'll believe in him. It doesn't happen that way. He's already given his only son so that those who believe on him will have eternal life. So, he's not going to be blackmailed or anything else.
I've been born again for almost 40 years. Had a mom that was pregnant with me, while regularly attending church. I come from a Christian background. God and his fellowship is as real to me as any living, breathing human being. Only divine and powerful.
Listen to your wife. Ask her why she believes as she does. Those who are born again remain in christ for a reason. It's not only because scripture tells us to. It's because the lord reveals himself to us in a very personal way. He knows us and he loves us. And whatever we go through he goes through with us.

There is one thing I know God WILL do for you, ask Him in prayer that He would give you wisdom to understand the truth-of-the-matter. He said He would give wisdom without finding fault. Each day ask, and each day reason it out by way of the scriptures. It will all come together as He gives you insight into understanding. Start with God's Holiness, our sinfulness and our need to be united with him by way of His one and only Son who loved you so much that the punishment that we deserved, was placed on Him, He laid down His life for you. Salvation is a free gift for us, but cost Him dearly. I wish you well my friend. "What manner of love is this, that we should be called the children of God."
