MINI underpinnings saw this as the brand's first front driven model and it's certainly a classier, more interesting alternative to a conventional Scenic-style compact MPV. I had a 225i for three years and love it. Nice to handle around but expensive when doing the maintenance as the way BMW asked in the brochure.

Rear sliding seats are not standard on SE models though or at least not the one I saw which is a 68 plate 220i model

Pay lots of money for a car with no rear screen wiper.lets it down and it should have been fitted along with screen wash.
