After actually plating through the whole DLC.I will say that it did bring me back into the game.I like how it did allow me to pick my role and have you go through the story to acquire the different sigils to amp up your character and have you craft items to boost your characters stats.Yeah it doesn't really have the open world feel to it and there isn't a real social space but I found mysself addicted to playing for hours, the grind to unlock everything, find items, select the leaders options, get more items to boost my characters stats, finishing the boss 2x,and fighting Ignis,Gladiolus, and Promto all at the same time to test my character after all the grinding. This last part may be off topic but FFXV is literally made for first time players,it even says it on the main screen loading up so I don't understand how FFXV competes with other FF titles.I look at FFXV as a stand alone, something to get interested in for the FF series like a test for the waters so I don't get why people are complaining when the game isn't for hardcore FF fans.

Insanity Engine its a looker, but sadly it is shit dude...come on the towns and npcs are static with no dialogue, the radio is pretty much the only thing that gives u story development...side quests are repetitive fetch bore and chore fests...story was decent, but also not very in depth and much of it was cut...again the world and graphics were good, dungeons were kool, but yea just missed opportunity as a whole...they wasted resources on a movie, anime, festival dlcs, mobile game, other game collabs, etc, which all so far turned out wasteful...well maybe except the movie, but it doesnt help the game feel richer since u just watch it, while what matters like the dlcs were short as hell...ignis may be the only decent one coming, but it wouldnt be enough to save it now...comrades multiplayer looks so ass and boring...trust me i played FFXV and did everything in it 100%, praised it against everybody to death during its release and playing the beginning chapters, and only until it was all said and done, i understood what people were trying to say...anyways yea if all those resources werent wasted and actually used on the game and its story content, evrything from the movies, anime and old trailers made it in, it could have been super epic and fleshed out...esp if nomura stayed and it stayed as a versus 13 exclusive, even if he may have took long, at least thats why his storys end up rich/deep and full of content, character development, etc u name it...i guess enjoyed it for the little something it was and more power to u if u are, but yea just not the best representation of a ff game, plus there are many other open games out that just do it better too/more worth playing, even somethin like AC Origins which isnt even technically a rpg
Henry N. say what? first of all i never said that, but lets say that i did say that...what are u smoking ask anybody other ffs are the best ones and where its at, the point is storys and such dont get dated, just graphics and point is theyre remaking ff7's graphics for example...so it has nothing to do with being stuck, also the combat in ff7 remake wont be turn based, so how is that being stuck in the past...also its funny even the older games at their dated forms still crush ffxv...point is great elements like talking to npcs to further lore and story doesnt exist in ffxv...it lacks story depth, its the most static and empty feeling open world ever
Henry N. nope sorry im not a sheep like u that likes to play typical games kind of like online shooters with a diff skin, instead of point out issues so new entrys can be done right...see if it wasnt for people speaking up, probably tabata wouldnt have back paddled to add story bits in the game or for example battlefront 2 microtransactions wouldnt get fixing, situations like that...so yea if we was all easily pleased like u, wed be playing COD type of games all day...wake up and stop counting sheep, sheep
ChocoGamer5 yeah me too. Don't worry about everyone else. I've learned that if I enjoy something other's don't then that thing is something that I can enjoy that they can't and that sucks for them, not me.
I enjoy the main game, I haven't tried out this dlc yet, but will most likely start later 2day. Seems so peaceful to ride in the car/truck and listen to ff7 music. If I have Iggy drive I can close my eyes and have flash backs of the entire ff7 game, yet as soon as I hop out of the car/truck I have a very different game to play. I'm looking forward to the Iggy dlc that's supposed to be out in Dec sometime.
They could of done something really cool like GTA Online and just use the existing open world with your own customized character, but they really dropped the ball making it a much smaller game with instanced areas, it just makes me want to go back to the single player...
Somehow I never felt the load times... I gotta say I LOVE that multiplayer expansion... The gameplay of XV is one of the best IMO and seeing it used in a different manner and fully customizable makes it even better
I played the main game when it was first released, and I'm only playing it again when they're done with all the updates and DLCs. I want to play it when I'm able to enjoy all the game can offer at its 100% of its development.
Same. I thought the game was a lot of fun. It was also one of the first PS4 games I had; I got it with the FFXV PS4 bundle and my PS4 is looking spiffy af.
I think for 20 bucks and no additional monthly charges it's definitely worth the puchase if you just want to experience parts of the gameplay from FFXV together with your friends. Great review DG. Thanks for doing it.
OMFG YES I NEVER EVEN REALIZED THEY WERE DOING THIS! There's definitely room for improvement but it looks amazing regardless with what they have available! I cant wait to see what they add/do with this
Alot of the statements youv'e made as a reviewer, are just wrong. 1. You start off comrades, in the year that Noctis has disapeard. 2. There is clearly daylight left and light grey during the day cycle. 3. You as a kingsglaive, are not the king or seasoned bodygaurd, as they were chosen to party with noctis and you were told, they wanted to get tougher for when Noctis returns
Honest review .... This is a standard behavior of FF developers. They often pretend to know what they are doing but most of the time their coding is more on the lacking side ... They try to emulate other systems and often fail horribly at it
if you think about it correctly it's not a awful business decision just needs some work it has that potential just no one thinks that a game like this needs a little push in the right way instead everyone bashes on it because they did not get what they want
"FINAL FANTASY XV WINDOWS EDITION boasts a wealth of bonus content, including content contained in free updates to the console versions as well as paid downloadable content originally available through the Season Pass." I assume all the episode DLCs will come free, not sure about this one though.
Thanks for the search. Glad to hear there will be free content but they mentioned the DLC being in a Season Pass. Guess this isn't a day 1 purchase after all (for money's sake).
As the others have pointed out the Windows Edition will include all content in the Season Pass for free including this expansion as, even though its a bit more ambitious than the previous episodes, it is still part of the Season Pass lineup. However you may not be aware of this, but recently they announced that there will be a 2nd Season Pass as they plan on making even more expansions through 2018. These expansions are not to be confused with the content of the current Season Pass and we will likely need to purchase a separate Season Pass for the 2018 content - which by extension means that when the Windows Edition launches there will be a "Season Pass" available for purchase but it is NOT the Season Pass currently available.
which tbh is reasonable considering for $29 we got a multiplayer expansion with incredible character creation(like what? Squeenix do more games with character creators please) three 2-5 hour DLC with different playable characters and extra story. Hell I'd say the multiplayer alone could sell for $29 by itself pretty easily. If they're gonna release even more content for the next year it's reasonable to think they'd want us to pay another $20-30 for it if the content is anything like what we've already gotten. oh and ZERO microtransaction BS in this game what-so-ever, they could definitely have meddled in that shit with the multiplayer, but they didn't.. I think that needs to be recognized in this day and age. I'll happily keep giving them my money if they continue like this.
Jin Ruidmongm Its only really for people who enjoy a bit of a challenge, and boss battles. Casuals probably wouldn't find it interesting, though this new one is suppose to be more casual friendly, so.
5 years later and I’m just now starting this game. Ever and I really enjoy it so far I don’t mind at the beginning it being repetitive I enjoy just fighting
I wish it was more like the way the campaign storyline game is with the 4 main characters exploring a big, beautiful world in that awesome car, camping, cooking, fishing and fighting with your real life friends! That would’ve been badass. Still, I got a lot of enjoyment from the main game itself.
I'm hooked with this expansion, which really surprised me! I've been having hard time returning to FFXV and felt it was getting boring and stale, but the multiplayer is so much fun with the crafting system, being able to heal yourself and your allies and choose your role and what weapons you wanna use. Whenever I played as Noctis, I felt like I had to be melee fighter. But in here I can cast spells all day if I feel like it as long as I manage my MP correctly. I've been doing a lot of lvl20+ content as a lvl
Thanks for the review man. You did a nice job at really explaining who this DLC is targeting while mentioning all the pros and cons. This is definitely an expansion for die hard fans who would love to see their own character run around with new mechanics in the world. I cant stand how much hate this DLC is getting (aside from the load times), its a 20 dollar expansion, not a full 60 dollar game. As far as I see with the gameplay, it definitely looks like its worth the pricetag. Im going to wait a while and see if they add more to it though.
The world being plunged into darkness is NOT the ending to Final Fantasy XV dude! It takes place during the ten years Noctis goes missing before the final battles/end bosses in the story.
If Square Enix develops the next final fantasy with this "universe" bullshit, I'm not buying it. Give me a complete main game story and content-wise then expand upon that with dlc and I'm good.
Lukong the movie, the anime (which should have been in game), the countless events that were cut out of the game from the trailers from 2014 onwards. The lack of character development, the nefilhim continent, the last portion of the game being so linear, all the hype build up from 2016. The list goes on.
Monk Man Or Xenoblade Chronicles which has already done 3 titles with very deep gameplay and story. It’s funny how Monolith and Nintendo have outdone the actual Final Fantasy franchise for a while now...
Hayate Gekko it doesn't matter to me who made the decision to do make this "universe". If they have to take a year+ to fill the plot holes that the main game left open, I will have no part in it. There are so many games that can give us complete stories.
I may offer a suggestion to anyone who is still playing this who has an issue about parties suggested in the video. If u play with people u know it's very easy to play with them again if u have them added via PlayStation or Xbox. Not really sure about PC however. But it's not really hard to have a team of friend's on this game for any hunt. Also if u are playing on Xbox one. Which is what i own, u can party chat with them or message them to keep contact. So the whole party thing is an easy fix. But i have to say my only thing about this game is the loading time, the occasional connection issue, and the bugs here and there.other than that i personally think this game is pretty damn fun.
I never thought the FFXV multiplayer was *bad*. I just think it's not fleshed out enough. It's obvious that it was just an after thought. Something that wasn't really planned or worked on from the start. It also feels like they were going for a Monster Hunter vibe. Team up with friends or randoms to do these big monster hunts, to craft new gear and get stronger. But it ends up just feeling like a half-assed Monster Hunter knockoff. Like...it's trying to be Monster Hunter, but the mechanics just aren't there. Monster Hunter works because it's been made, and remade, and updated, and refined...for YEARS. The mechanics of the game are entirely based around the idea that you're gonna be fighting huge ass monsters for 20-30 minutes at a time. The combat works because it meshes well with the monster's movements and stuff.... On the other hand, you have Final Fantasy XV. The combat feels like they were going for a Kingdom Hearts kinda thing, with a teleport thrown in. While I enjoyed the combat in the main game, and even doing some of the single player hunts(some of which I had to grind for hours to get certain items, or money), it just doesn't quite work the same against large monsters in a multiplayer setting. The game wasn't designed around it. It feels like you just tossed in monster hunts on top of an existing engine just for the hell of it. I don't think it would have been quite as....off... if they put more time into it. First off, it probably shouldn't have been an add-on for Final Fantasy XV. They should have made it it's own separate standalone game, where they could refine the mechanics entirely around the idea of monster hunts. I know hunts were in single player, but to be honest, even those felt tacked on just to ride the tail of games like Witcher, that had their own hunts. Remember fighting that big ass turtle mountain thing for the first time? Tell me, did that feel GOOD to fight? Not really. It was annoying, none of your hits felt like it had any impact, you spent half the fight just teleporting around. Now imagine that same fight in a Monster Hunter game. With it's weighty combat, having to dodge roll out of the way of a giant stomp, have to manually climb your way up to it's head only to be knocked off, throwing some stun pods at it to calm it down for a second. THAT would have worked amazingly well. But not in Final Fantasy XV.
you got it wrong at the start by the way, it doesn't take place after the main story conclusion, it takes place in between chapter 13 and 14, before the story ends. Sorry if this has already been said(probably has), just didn't see anyone pointing it out..
I LOVED the world in 15, not the fact that they made a movie with A LOT of important details that SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE GAME, also this was hands down the easiest ff ive played in a long time. Final fantasy brave exvius has harder bosses and its a mobile game.(the most complete part of the game is the dungeon with no enemies)
I just bought the Premium Deluxe edition for PS4 for $29. I've never played or seen much of FF15. I heard bad things at launch but was interested in getting it at some point. So worth $29 now or is it still kinda meh?
Also the reason why the loading times are so long is because the game loads the whole singleplayer map, you can glitch out into the world just like we could in the demo.
The load times absolutely killed this for me. I heard around that apprantly why the loading is so bad is because they load the entire overworld so they can lock you in a tiny area.
Its been like a month since this expansion came out and i still cant play it online every time i try to quick match it says unable to join and then i get disconnected from the server does anyone know how can i fix this?
I agree that the load times are horrible, but i've had a really good time with this expansion. As for joining a party with people you want to keep playing with, you can just open up a custom lobby with any other lobby number then 0000. Doesnt save you from the load times i'm afraid though.
It’s like the metal gear survive of ff15. I was hoping the online was just like the normal game and open world but with friends. It didn’t have to have a new shitty story. They should’ve just let us go in the open world with 3 friends. Each person plays as a character and you can also play as your own character if you want and that’d be fine.
Hi there... just to clean my thoughts...Multiplayer mode in FF XV will be like FF XIV one? Or Is called multiplayer but u can only play with ur friends and so we could call it Online Cooperation? Im talking abiut Ff XV windows version..Ty fo ur time if u could answer..
so that's where those "Sharp Bone" is used, in the DLC. (I know i know, you can use those for making spells but killing enemies takes the same time as crafting spells).
I haven't spent much time in the Comrades DLC but I was under the impression that it took place while Noctis was in the Crystal. It wouldn't make any sense to take place after the story.
For everyone saying that FFXIII and beyond are not good, you have no idea what you are talking about.Lets be real:Lightning and Serah had more character development in terms of being sisters than Noctis and Luna ever did as a couple I guess?. Get salty but we know its the truth.FFXIIIs games were complete when released and had interesting storyline that were NOT locked behind "dlc"($$$$) . Also, you have not experienced FFXIV is,it borrows elements from previous final fantasy games, gameplay is adjusted every now and then including servers .Story/content is added every few months . You definitely get what you pay for monthly. Burned out of a FF mmo? Take a break and come back with having things to do in game, your character you choose to level and progression will be where you left off. Being in a guild is a plus which makes it a lot more flavorable experience. Yes, I did play FFXV . I did enjoy it in some aspects but what I don't agree on is locking story behind a wall and calling it "dlc" but I don't have a problem with comrades being dlc. I can see the reason why.
Alex Caellum If the products were good they would stand on their own without the need for hyper sensitive people like you to be taking it so personal. At the end of the day, with a rant like this, you just proved how bad they actually are.
@Christine Lindberg-Gilhus I agree, but I must say that the Lightning vs Caius dlc for FFXIII-2 that featured the best interaction between Lightning and Serah in the entire game should have been in the main game. It was essentially an "Episode Lightning" for me at least.
this doesnt take place after main story ended.. this takes place after noctis is sucked into the crystal .. this is the 10 years without lights, where the glaives has to supply powers.. if this is after, then iris would already be the “daemon slayer” as npc instead ..
Has anyone told them it didn't take place after the ending of the story but after chapter 13 when Noct is sealed away for 10 years before the time skip?
No worries, you'll finish soneday, if you wait long enough for the next dlc you can find out what happened to all 3 of the npc teamates during the time they leave the group for what they say is personal business, at different points, in the main storyline.
The game wansn't tough, it was hard to even die with the AI constantly reviving each other. The only thing is that the enemies are bullet spongey to the point of me just using one hand to hold down Shift and Mouse while reading a book.
agreed they really need to fix the party/loading screen issues. would be 100% smoother and more enjoyable. i dont really agree with the "repetitive missions" at the start so much, within 5 hours i had already done defense, solo missions and the mobile defense.. they could certainly add more though. overall this is still quite enjoyable
The, "FFVII was the LAST good FF game" fans make are what people hate 7. I these kind of fanboys would shut up because 7 is a actually great game but the overhype naturally puts people off. We all know 7 is a staple game and mascot for FF, does that please your fanatic egos or something? There are still other titles that are comparable or decent enough after 7. Honestly the only shit games imo were the 13 trilogies.
To be truth I enjoy Comrades more than Promptos or Gladios DLC, and almost more than the main game. Only problem that I actually have is that I've had more bugs in the Comrades than I've had in the main game and other DLC's all together now. And after every bug I have to restart the Comrades, because it either gets stuck or I can't start a new mission even with AI.
I must agree with Cesar Agosto, but go one step further. The end shows Noctis defeating the darkness once and for all, and if you notice when you see Gladio, Prompto, or Ignis in comrades, they're not quite as aged as they would be in the conclusion of the game.
The only thing i dont like about it atm is how people follow you like a puppy Defense missions are harder if you zerg everywhere instead of defending a spot as enemies spawn in
To everyone wondering how the glaives still ha e their powers. When luna awakened leviathan it also awakened the old gods thus restoring their powers. A female npc explains it in comrades.
So wait, is this being sold as DLC or as another game? lol, cuz I don’t have the base game but it does give me the option to purchase it without the game

Henry N. say what? first of all i never said that, but lets say that i did say that...what are u smoking ask anybody other ffs are the best ones and where its at, the point is storys and such dont get dated, just graphics and point is theyre remaking ff7's graphics for example...so it has nothing to do with being stuck, also the combat in ff7 remake wont be turn based, so how is that being stuck in the past...also its funny even the older games at their dated forms still crush ffxv...point is great elements like talking to npcs to further lore and story doesnt exist in ffxv...it lacks story depth, its the most static and empty feeling open world ever
Henry N. towns are practically just gas stations static as shit too
Henry N. no i dont have a problem, the problem is u got a potato for a brain
Henry N. nope sorry im not a sheep like u that likes to play typical games kind of like online shooters with a diff skin, instead of point out issues so new entrys can be done right...see if it wasnt for people speaking up, probably tabata wouldnt have back paddled to add story bits in the game or for example battlefront 2 microtransactions wouldnt get fixing, situations like that...so yea if we was all easily pleased like u, wed be playing COD type of games all day...wake up and stop counting sheep, sheep
Wait till you play Anthem. Mmm Mmmm them Load Screens.
I atualy like FF 15
ChocoGamer5 yeah me too. Don't worry about everyone else. I've learned that if I enjoy something other's don't then that thing is something that I can enjoy that they can't and that sucks for them, not me.
So do I. The environment, the music, the gameplay. It's like you're playing a movie somewhat.
ChocoGamer5 same the game is really good
The game is pretty solid yea
Wait so i can't team up with my friend to do the missions? Do we have to hope that the game throws us together by luck?
you can set a passcode for friends
I played the main game when it was first released, and I'm only playing it again when they're done with all the updates and DLCs. I want to play it when I'm able to enjoy all the game can offer at its 100% of its development.
Marcos Moreira exactly what I'm doing.
Will do the same. There are plenty of games to play while we wait.
Same. I thought the game was a lot of fun. It was also one of the first PS4 games I had; I got it with the FFXV PS4 bundle and my PS4 is looking spiffy af.
Apparently they cancelled any remaining DLC's. So its complete as it gets now.
Matt Dawson there will be one last episode. Ardyn is being released i believe 3/26. Yeah unfortunately after that’s, it’s done.
I think for 20 bucks and no additional monthly charges it's definitely worth the puchase if you just want to experience parts of the gameplay from FFXV together with your friends. Great review DG. Thanks for doing it.
Not just that unlike GTAO is its optional...to save space on users storage.
They try to emulate other systems and often fail horribly at it
deafwing Like you know more than them unless you work in the game industry. Let's see you create a game better than FFXV.
if you think about it correctly it's not a awful business decision just needs some work it has that potential just no one thinks that a game like this needs a little push in the right way instead everyone bashes on it because they did not get what they want
This could of been one of the best games but it feels emty like they gave up or something and just wanted money
I hope the PC version launches with all the DLC included.
"FINAL FANTASY XV WINDOWS EDITION boasts a wealth of bonus content, including content contained in free updates to the console versions as well as paid downloadable content originally available through the Season Pass."
I assume all the episode DLCs will come free, not sure about this one though.
Thanks for the search. Glad to hear there will be free content but they mentioned the DLC being in a Season Pass. Guess this isn't a day 1 purchase after all (for money's sake).
Echocookie yes it's confirmed that all of the paid contents are free for the PC version
Your upward inflection at the end of every phrase is causing me physical pain
meh
gonna wait for the new MH game
LiangHuBBB yeah same, can't wait for it
It’s not like you can’t buy both, MH is coming in 2018.
I am too, playing this in the meanwhile however, it’s not as easy to join friends as mh will be but still something fun to play hehe
If you have friends to play with, you're missing out. It's actually a lot of fun.
Jin Ruidmongm Its only really for people who enjoy a bit of a challenge, and boss battles. Casuals probably wouldn't find it interesting, though this new one is suppose to be more casual friendly, so.
I liked World of Final Fantasy more than FFXV.
but one question, does the multiplayer DLC for FFXV required a Playstation plus to play it?
Anas Bakhit yes... Just like everything else multiplayer.
MapleMates
FUUUUU >_<
I still can't see myself subscribing to PS+
Anas Bakhit If you would be getting multiplayer strictly for this, definitely save your money haha
5 years later and I’m just now starting this game. Ever and I really enjoy it so far I don’t mind at the beginning it being repetitive I enjoy just fighting
I played it twice a few years back and i love the game
Meh. I'm just gonna wait for monster hunter world and dauntless.
Same, this just seems like a discount MH imo.
hardest part for me. waiting...for..mhw...
Shana-tan I wish dauntless would come out for the ps4, dang
Dauntless are shit
Im from the future, Dauntless sucks lul
Playing FFXV now.
When I get to where I need to play Comrades, should I or is it a waste of time?
It's very dead now
Comrades takes place while Noctis was asleep during the world of darkness. NOT "after the end of the game"
I thought this was a well made summary with great editing, and your review was very fair. Thanks.
Haprilona finally someone who isn’t being really harsh
Do I need the base game to play the dlc?
@@melxb LOL I KNOW THIS IS OLD, but i find it so fucking funny that you preferred the mess that was origins over this. Product of the times i guess
It takes place during the ten years Noctis goes missing before the final battles/end bosses in the story.
lol you clearly dont know the story
If Square Enix develops the next final fantasy with this "universe" bullshit, I'm not buying it. Give me a complete main game story and content-wise then expand upon that with dlc and I'm good.
That is what they did
Lukong the movie, the anime (which should have been in game), the countless events that were cut out of the game from the trailers from 2014 onwards. The lack of character development, the nefilhim continent, the last portion of the game being so linear, all the hype build up from 2016. The list goes on.
if open world is the future of FF then witcher 3 should be their inspiration.
On sale for $4.00
So yeah I'm buying it
I may offer a suggestion to anyone who is still playing this who has an issue about parties suggested in the video.
Havent gotten a chance to play this yet... Can we be dragoons? I really like their playstyle, Ive been dying to play as Araneia
Prompto was still the best episode
If you want online final fantasy play 14 mmo its so fun
king fish No thanks I ain't paying monthly subs just to play a game.
Howya Doin It isn’t a monthly sub :P that’s WoW
It's slow as fuck, repetitive, and full of pages upon pages of text boxes. I stopped playing pretty quickly.
Mermaid Weed Dayum.
@@jaxnotreal you pay money for the game them spend 15$ a month to keep playing it so yeah.. it is sub.
Can you play this without finishing the story mode first?? 😅
Hope someone can help me.
Yes
Thanx for the video bro. Which game u recommend to get into the FF franchise
I just bought the Premium Deluxe edition for PS4 for $29. I've never played or seen much of FF15. I heard bad things at launch but was interested in getting it at some point. So worth $29 now or is it still kinda meh?
Dunno if it's bad, I'm still loading my first mission :P
So we dont need to buy the main game for this right?
Yes you do its a dlc not a stand alone
@@datboygroot4015 that's odd, I dont own FfXv and yet I am playing it as I type this.
so can you play with your friends in a group or is it random?
Just swords and axes and other melee weapons is all it has? Seriously?
Oh well. I'll just stick to using Prompto
Man I love how the entire world is rendered colorless while Noct is stuck in the crystal.
Do you have to play on multiplayer or is it also single-player?
Also the reason why the loading times are so long is because the game loads the whole singleplayer map, you can glitch out into the world just like we could in the demo.
The load times absolutely killed this for me. I heard around that apprantly why the loading is so bad is because they load the entire overworld so they can lock you in a tiny area.
And piss poor graphics, it seemed to have gotten worser than normal in this DLC...
So is this something I can play privately with 1 friend? Or does it force you to play with a bunch of strangers?
This really makes me wonder how much of the main FFXV game you've actually played and paid attention to because of all the errors you've made.
The story is complicated
Did anything improve since 3 years ago? I just started playing the game today and I'm thinking about trying Comrades :)
Its been like a month since this expansion came out and i still cant play it online every time i try to quick match it says unable to join and then i get disconnected from the server does anyone know how can i fix this?
And also whenever i click on custom games there are no matches in the list its completely empty
I agree that the load times are horrible, but i've had a really good time with this expansion. As for joining a party with people you want to keep playing with, you can just open up a custom lobby with any other lobby number then 0000. Doesnt save you from the load times i'm afraid though.
how do you delete the toon to remake?
Is the combat any better? I didn't really enjoy it during the main game and haven't touched any of the dlc
Good review, the only issue I have is that you made not that this happens after the main story, it happens before the ending. Before Nocts return.
80k subscribers! We'll done DCG!
Wow the loading... i guess sonic 06 met its match.
Hi there... just to clean my thoughts...Multiplayer mode in FF XV will be like FF XIV one? Or Is called multiplayer but u can only play with ur friends and so we could call it Online Cooperation? Im talking abiut Ff XV windows version..Ty fo ur time if u could answer..
so that's where those "Sharp Bone" is used, in the DLC. (I know i know, you can use those for making spells but killing enemies takes the same time as crafting spells).
Dreamcastguy is the #1 trusted game reviewer.
@Christine Lindberg-Gilhus
I agree, but I must say that the Lightning vs Caius dlc for FFXIII-2 that featured the best interaction between Lightning and Serah in the entire game should have been in the main game. It was essentially an "Episode Lightning" for me at least.
Do I have to pay monthly like xiv?
That wasn’t the ending. Did you even finish the game?
this doesnt take place after main story ended.. this takes place after noctis is sucked into the crystal .. this is the 10 years without lights, where the glaives has to supply powers.. if this is after, then iris would already be the “daemon slayer” as npc instead ..
Has anyone told them it didn't take place after the ending of the story but after chapter 13 when Noct is sealed away for 10 years before the time skip?
IDK if it's just me but when I go to find a group I get kicked to offline mode everytime.
Hey dreamcastguy great upload I love the FF series still haven’t finished ff xv yet but I’ll keeeeeeep dreamin 😉☝🏻
No worries, you'll finish soneday, if you wait long enough for the next dlc you can find out what happened to all 3 of the npc teamates during the time they leave the group for what they say is personal business, at different points, in the main storyline.
wow its like the shortest ff ever can finish it pretty much in the same day then do the rest later, which are fetch quests anyways
It would be dope if the boss actually spawned 100% of the time. The bugs in this game is too much for me to handle.
The game wansn't tough, it was hard to even die with the AI constantly reviving each other. The only thing is that the enemies are bullet spongey to the point of me just using one hand to hold down Shift and Mouse while reading a book.
Honestly, the Kingsglaive in general is so much more interesting than anything in the main game.
I bought ff15 and the dlc and rejoined ps plus, then joined in, and there was nobody there.
agreed they really need to fix the party/loading screen issues. would be 100% smoother and more enjoyable. i dont really agree with the "repetitive missions" at the start so much, within 5 hours i had already done defense, solo missions and the mobile defense.. they could certainly add more though.
overall this is still quite enjoyable
The, "FFVII was the LAST good FF game" fans make are what people hate 7. I these kind of fanboys would shut up because 7 is a actually great game but the overhype naturally puts people off. We all know 7 is a staple game and mascot for FF, does that please your fanatic egos or something? There are still other titles that are comparable or decent enough after 7. Honestly the only shit games imo were the 13 trilogies.
U suck at typing bOi
Skylion 7 wasn't even the best ff game 9 was.
sydthepurepwnage4 Okay?
Ethen Jones You suck at trolling.
Skylion but I'm good at telling the truth
The only thing i dont like about it atm is how people follow you like a puppy
Defense missions are harder if you zerg everywhere instead of defending a spot as enemies spawn in
I think it would be awesome to have a turn based FF with multiplayer. Each person in the party selections an action to fight monsters/bosses
All the main characters will be added as playable characters later on and it takes place in the 10 year gap not after the game
Is this part of the season pass?
To everyone wondering how the glaives still ha e their powers. When luna awakened leviathan it also awakened the old gods thus restoring their powers. A female npc explains it in comrades.
So wait, is this being sold as DLC or as another game? lol, cuz I don’t have the base game but it does give me the option to purchase it without the game
Part of the game, as a DLC
It used to be a DLC but FF Comerades is a stand alone game now.
It takes place during chapter 12 and 13 when noctis goes into Slumber in the crystal
And it sounds like the multiplayer is what we were wanting from the beginning.
Ok so you and another friend can’t play this together? Since you said you can’t do parties?
I don't know about the load screen man , I waited 40 minutes on matchmaking queue in Resident Evil Resistance
This does look fun, will play it on PC soon. Glad they are coming out with more DLC and a true ending to the game where Noctic and Luna live.
