    Thanks for providing a look inside this knife! Also, its nice to see ZT using the hardened steel washers with this knife.

    Nice video!
    I just swapped hardware and blades between this knife and the 0609BLK.
    The bronze scales with the flat black hardware and blade looks great 👍!
    Thanks for the helpful vid!

    Thanks for the video. I love the knife and carry it everyday as my EDC. I am going to order the tool shortly to improve the action.

    Did the bearings make any tracks on the scales of the knife? Thanks for these videos by the way, some of us really appreciate it.

    I enjoyed the video. Good looking knife. In my opinion if a knife takes a special tool for disassembly It should be included. Increase the price a bit if needed but included it. Any chance you have a video of your finger injury? We would love to see it!

    Wish they went with a D Shaped pivot. Would make is soo much easier

    Don't worry about cutting yourself. I always tell people who are worried about getting hurt by my knives that I'm the only one I've ever cut. My wife cut her finger tip off so be glad it's not that bad lol

    You consider 6 months of use excessively dirty? Outside of MAYBE oiling the bearings on my ZTs, I virtually never take knives apart unless they start to act sluggish in deployment

    Awesome glad to see u finally got the tool to be able to maintain the knife. Where can I find the stick of loctite like that?
    Great video 👊✌

    Sliceman- I think the proprietary hardware should include the tool. That being said the tool was fairly expensive at $17. Pretty poor planning to put out the knife w/o having the tool ready. Probably should have had a captured pivot from what I'm seeing. In the end it is a nice knife and the tool is finally available. Only complaint is it would be nice to have a filler tab for the show side. No swearing? WTF :-) Knife cuts are typically very clean cuts that heal quickly once bandaged.

    We knife guys always have sliced up fingers. It’s all part of the experience.

    Just loosen the pivot a little but not to where there is blade play and the action is superb

    Great video man love the disassembly part should do more of them. Painter tape comes off easier though. Love the channel. Any chance you wanna sell your three rivers neutron yet can’t get one anywhere. I’ll pay more than market value. Lol.

      No. And they had a few on BladeHQ the other day. And there will be a few available on the site at the end of the month. They just did a pre-order for another run and they always have some left over.

    I have wanted this knife since it was released but some people said it had a weak detent and I’m scared.

    • @SliceyDicey
      @SliceyDicey  6 лет назад

      Well mine was definitely NOT weak. I'm glad it's broken in a bit.

    • @MrGeerbear
      @MrGeerbear 6 лет назад +1

      + Cark- I'm seeing some inconsistency with ZT's detents. They used to be very hard, so I could see some softening, but I am seeing some inconsistency as my ZT 009% was weak. Slicey adjusted it nicely for me. With so few models each year ZT needs to get their act together on consistency.

    That's dirty? In 5 months you had to blow it out a couple times? What have you been up to? I carried my Sage 2 for 4+ years, 5 days a week. Never cleaned, lubed once, never disassembled. Still works great. I've carried other knives almost as much and with just as much inattention. I think the whole clean/lube thing is over rated.

    • @MrGeerbear
      @MrGeerbear 6 лет назад

      Len- Baz on Blades has an interesting video on washing knives. May be a bit more time consuming as you have dry the knife thoroughly, but the upside is no stripped screws.

    • @SliceyDicey
      @SliceyDicey  6 лет назад +1

      I always have the skin glue around. Reflex from my MTB racing days! I glued it and put a butterfly bandage on it. I'll survive! It's just on my damn knuckle so I can't bend that finger much.

    • @MrGeerbear
      @MrGeerbear 6 лет назад +1

      Don't use superglue. It is toxic. Use skin glue made for the job.
