I've watched you for years and told all my friends too as well. 75 year old, retired school teacher :). Love the way you show the results. I find your deep, male voice extremely restful. I often put on your channel and let it play as I fall asleep; it helps. I wish I lived near to you (not the cold weather part) and I'd attend all your sales. You are a value to our country. I appreciate your sense of humor and your knowledge as well as your work ethic. Looking forward to more soon. I spend my days sewing lots of things. Have sold 66 quilts I made from recycled blue jeans in the last 18 months. Could sell more but my arms and hands got tired LOL.

It was so nice to finally meet you. Never thought I would. Thanks for all the advice. I tried hard not to bug you. I also expected to see you recording more, never did heh. I STILL have that giant shaw display. Been putting it together with no instructions and it weighs a TON. Kelly fought you on a few pallets, but ultimately we are just too cheap and see most this stuff consistently so we never pay that much. Next time you come down we'll have more time i hope, I have some secrets I can tell you about his auctions. in 5 years buying their, I have NEVER lost money. We would have bought more than the 6 pallets we got but as you know I dont want too much stuff since the house is up for sale.
For sure! Usually I take the 9pm flight out so I always have downtime after the auction!
There’s something about jumping on a plane flying around in the cold weather eating crappy food that will make you feel off, but you will be home making money soon. Nice content

I love watching large airports and seeing planes just stacked up in the distance at different altitudes.
I fly around 30-40 times per year. It never gets old. I love watching the planes and looking out the window. I’m sure I probably look like it’s my first time flying every time.
I like the part at the end when you rescued that burning three legged dog tossed out the window of the stolen uber driven by conjoined twins dressed as deadpool --- that was cool -- but seeing the Elvis impersonator shampooing that bengal tiger in the bed of an Isuzu pickup while doing semaphore with sparklers and singing "Does your chewing gum lose its flavor on the bedpost overnight?" That is some Classic Rabbit!
Ooh I have that igloo cooler. I love it. It's a great size that I can actually move around without breaking my back.

Any of food items that are out of date sell them to pig farmers or gardeners. That's what I have done for years. One farmer traded a side of pork and a side of beef.
I really hope that you continue making videos like this and keep this beautiful momentum going. Also that paper bags pallet... i mean i don't know :P

I am now paranoid when I stay at hotels. I now check the bed creases and pull the bed sheets for bed bugs before moving my things into a room. This hotel I stayed look clean but during the night I woke up and I looked up and spotted a bed bug on my pillow. I had not been bitten yet. I woke my relative who was sleeping on the other bed and spotted bed bugs on their bed too. I called the front desk and they assigned me a different room but they would not give me a refund or partial refund. I checked for bed bugs in that room too and didn't find any but I still was not able to sleep well. Someone who works in the oil and gas that stays in a hotel wraps their stuff in a large plastic bag and puts it in the bath tub until they need to shower to avoid taking bed bugs with them back home.
Well that was a fun day of buying! You got a lot of bargains! 😃🤑🤑🤑

I ate at steak and shake in Bristol Tennessee once when I was down in Bristol for a Nascar race. Then waukesha used to have one next to Target. But they had the greasiest burger I had ever had. The bun discenegrated in my hands.

12:17 Hershey's organic didn't sell well. Tasted like Hershey's which is probably why. Chocolate prices spiked recently, so those are going to go away fast at $5/box! I saw something at the end, or rather heard it. Royalty-free background music.
Weirdly, hersheys is my favorite chocolate. Not sure why. Especially their dark chocolate.

Is there an establishment on the San Francisco peninsula that has sales like Resale Rebbit's warehouse sales?
Look for Bin Stores. They’re all over the place. I find the quality is typically lower, but they run them every week rather than quarterly.
The outdated food isn't doing you any favours. It makes your sales seem junky. Just my opinion.
You definitely scored with low prices on those pallets. Curious if you figure out your costs to get there (airfare, hotel, car rental) and freight to ship it all home in your COGS? Or do separate all that out?
Cost for the trip is generally less than $1k, shipping was about $1700 this time

Steak 'N Shake is another restaurant my family no longer patronizes because of their need to eliminate waitresses and make it a self serve style garbage dump. No thanks! the wait staff is the ONLY reason we still ate there...that and the food, but i can do without the food with having to order from a kiosk(that and pick up your own food). Not going to happen, ever! May as well go to a FAST food joint, which they were not considered before to me.
BYOW = bring your own waitress.
I miss when they were full service. The one I went to was partial service. You still order at the counter, but they bring it out to you

I always wonder how that stuff does not get stolen, with all those boxes open like that. Can "anyone" buy at those auctions? 'cause I would just randomly buy whole pallets just to look and see what's inside, like my own personal random-day Christmas...then I would sit and cry not knowing where to put it all, lol. And yes, I watched til the end. I always watch til the end. People who don't are douche-bag psychopaths.

You're kind of agnostic about the nature of the goods you sell. I would be uninterested in anything except the tools and the tech. I'd be horrible at what you do.
I don’t sell what I like. I sell what the buyer likes. Makes it easier that way. Also, the sexier the product, the bigger the hassle. I love selling boring items because it’s so easy

If you don't enjoy your job, why don't you try to find one that you are better suited for? I would never want to do what rabbit does. But I'm glad he's found a calling that aligns with his preferred life
I'm not a fan of the 2 minute music montages that capped both ends of this. I know you put a lot of work into it, but it just seems like wasted effort. We're here for the ADD of your voice rambling on about things. No artistic touches needed.

I enjoyed both music montages. I went in skeptical because of your comment but found them to be entertaining. Just the right amount of everything he had to go through to get from point A to B. Nothing seemed to drag on and each clip was enough to tell the story of his travels. To each their own.
@@awf118 well, when i watch, I typically just listen half the time, I don't really watch watch. Given the nature of the content, there's no coherent plot line, it's just, "here's this thing I bought!", "here's this thing I bought", etc. It's calming. But the music with the scenery was like, a movie intro. Like, it's not that serious. You know? Kinda detracts from Rabbits persona of unseriousness and whimsicality. There doesn't need to be a beginning and an end. It's fine just being a stream of chaotic but predictable nonsense
@@JinjuNuffin it's a vlog. The unboxing or eBay sales videos I'd agree with you. But part of what makes the vlogs great is the travel aspect, seeing the whole trip, not just what's in the pallets. I like a bit of variety

You can make a travel vlog where you go out and make it montage to show the journey, but without random cuts in the journey, and having rabbit talk about some eccentricity with a story of some anecdote in a sarcastic manner, it just doesn't feel like him.
