I was halfway through high school when MK came out in arcades. My friend and I were huge fans instantly. When the SNES version was almost out, we had spent so long trying to find out if there would be blood. We all got the game a couple days before the official release date thanks to an independent store owner who was a gamer himself. The countless nights of staying up super late and playing this game are such good memories now :)
I grew up not only enjoying so many of these games, but seeing them evolve into the next best thing that kept me in the arcades almost until the mid 90s. Many of these games were my pastime life outside of college and still to this day wherever you can find them-Galloping Ghosts, Pinball PA, and Old North Arcade to name a few. Stellar interviews with some of the most innovative arcade game designers of the 80s and 90s. Glad to see their stories compiled into one full length documentary film. Really enjoyed this one and a very important film for all gamers of all generations to see!
