I had a lot of fun with this - we made it 4 scenarios playing co-op with 2 crews before being irradiated / exposed to some evil pathogen - it came down to the last roll of the last turn and we came up 1 dice short to disarm the MacGuffin - cue lots of laughter and a vow to never let that player forget his part in our downfall! We'll be trying this again before too long, in the meantime I'll enjoy seeing how far your intrepid crew can get!
First 5 Leagues and now Space Station Zero, must be my lucky week. They're both fantastic games. Big fan of your almost 80's futuristic looking terrain with all the bright colours.
Space Station Zero is great. A sci-fi dungeon crawl in space where the dungeon is a planet sized space station. Love the minis btw. Oh, I'm pretty sure the life tests stay static. So if you have 6 life, you always roll six dice even if you've taken damage. So if you had 4 life left, you would still make checks with 6 dice. Oh, and where did you get the little space car? Toy or an actual mini? I've been using toys for a lot of my vehicles like space ships. The toy ships from the new Buzz Lightyear movie look good with a decent repaint (or not if you don't care about that sort of thing) and are about on scale.

Just to respond to some of the comments, the only weapon that you can use whilst defending yourself, in ranged or close (out of the starting gear at least) is a Heavy Melee Weapon. Any weapon can be used to attack in Close, including ranged weapons. It's just Close weapons can't be used at range (who'd have thought?).
Very nice. Just catching up on videos (long camping trip with no net) and this game is one of my favorite new games. I ran this solo and first time made it to mission 13, next managed to get to mission 22, and running it with my nephew we survived the entire campaign to the end. Over this month that I've been home I finally pulled my first solo completion. Absolutely love this game, so glad to see it covered.

I’ve been doing the terrain wrong this whole time! I was only rolling for each half of the board not quadrant! Quad meaning four! Makes a big difference in my games! Glad I watched this!
Not a bad game. I missed this as I was 900 miles south of you and 5K miles from my computer, which was in England. Really must get a new laptop and transfer stuff over to it so I don't miss things.

LOL, yeah. But we've all been there. Especially when playing a new game. I can't even count how many times my group has forgotten to roll for morale in This Is Not A Test after a warband loses half or more of it's men... or the leader gets snuffed... and we constantly forget the burning ability for flame throwers, which is one of the best parts of a flame thrower. But yeah, sometimes you just get caught up in the moment and gloss over those things : D
Nice game! I think melee weapons cannot use their bonus to defence in melee unless they are a heavy weapon. A heavy weapon can also be used in defence against ranged attacks as there's nothing saying it can't. I think it could be used to simulate an advanced form of CC weapon and shield. I use it to simulate my leader of my 40k War crew (they're Inquisition) Attelus Kaltos' ability to dodge guns with his super human reflexes and limited precognition. He's an absolute beast on close combat with a total of 11 dice in melee due to the Edge I gave them 'Natural Brutes' he's slaughtered numerous enemies that've attacked in close combat due to this and rolls nine dice if being shot at and he has a flak vest. He's sorta my tank and DPS distraction from the rest of the crew as he charges in and draws the fire of the enemy. He also has the jump boots so +2 to move and the Fly ability so he's quick to get into melee. It all fits his character so well!
I played several missions of this but found it lacks any real tactical depth unless you force it in with intentional terrain placement. Most of the results are determined by the pregame crew/gear choices. Advancement system is pretty weak. I should give it another go but having read the next mission I am pretty sure if will f up my current crew.

They need a way to avoid forgetting poison gas…seems to always happen.
