Aight but Beholding Jon and Web Martin would be such a power duo. All the knowledge in the world and the ability to utilize it? C'mon, that would be incredible to watch, if it didn't drive Jon into "nothing matter I'm going to destroy everything" mode like we know it would.
It would be so damn cute to have the dynamic be Jon knowing LITERALLY EVERYTHING but being trash at communication so martin is just his human interaction translator
the cut to monster Jon is INCREDIBLE! like you establish this interesting dynamic two person scene and then BAM we get this cutaway that's like a punch to the gut! agh beautifully done

ah thank you- shes not always super conniving and clever and that really comes across when she tries to have a normal conversation with people.. she cant help it! she defaults to being cryptic even when shes not trying to actively deceive people.. i feel like sometimes people giver her too much credit for always being one step ahead, when actually that's usually just what she Wants you to think and shes just messing with you
THANK YOU that was so so fun to draw i even did audio editing to make that part hit harder (the tape recorder/background screeching in that scene actually comes from later that episode!) I thought it fit very well
I love the way everything is drawn! This is incredible. The angellic Monster Jon imagery speaks volumes. You think of angels as saviors and protagonists, but Lucifer's misguided decisions led him to falling to tragedy. Forever a fan of your art, friend!
Jonny essentially revealing his original plan for the series hits terribly. Amazing animatic! I love the expressions. Annabelle looks so smug at the "why do you think" part lmfao. And when Jon goes insane? That part looks great ✨🥺

I love how her eyes look completely blank, like their made of class. I guess you entended them to look all black like spiders eyes but I guess that's how I interpreted them, ether way it al looks amazing ✌️
ok im going to be real now that you say that, spider eyes wouldve been really smart but i Also always pictured them as blank and glassy- annabelle always came off as kind of doll-like to me (which is funny because my stranger avatar headcannons usually have pupils in my head) but she doesn't really! i have no idea why i went with it really, it just seemed right
the expressions!! are so good!!! the scoff, the side eye *chef’s kiss* i also absolutely love the way you drew martin. i feel like everyone’s settled on a singular idea of how he looks? and seeing variations from that is so delightful.

@@spacerockband she alrdy lured him there by “I have a way for Jon to not sacrifice himself”, so I think the avatarism is more likely cuz she mentioned descending into the lonely, but again she emphasised the ‘bond’ itself. Thu I don’t think we should worry much since it’s all just Jonny wanting to display one of the endings he thought ab for the series 👍
