Jon taking Martin's hand was such a lovely detail, I'd always pictured him kind of leaning away or otherwise trying to defend his own space. But here you show that he really just wants to appease Martin and he doesn't know how because Martin doesn't know.
ahh thank you!! i ended up adding that detail mostly because this scene was so much about their conflict and i really wanted to show how much they still love and care about each other even if they're arguing !! they're in a stressful situation and neither of them know how to make it better for the other :(
