For example, I have an anime figure escape key, what keys are compatible with the ducky keyboard you showed in the video? Thanks a lot ^^
I like Razer products, but not a huge fan of their switches. They are def more of a louder switch. As far as the keycaps, any standard keycap set should fit. The Ducky SF has a non standard right shift key which can make it difficult, but this Mini has standard keycap sizes. Ducky themselves make decent keycaps like the Cotton Candy or Azure set. Any other standard set is fine too. Also, if you are big on the RGB LEDs, you can get a set of pudding keycaps which look good of this. Ducky makes a set which are good, but my favorite pudding caps are from Hyper X which you can check out as well.

Chenyang_12 well... that’s unfortunate. On my local website ( www.scorptec.com.au ) it’s $150 aud for both the black and white one and I can find it on other websites for $99 aud

Luckily the UK has the most sites to buy from of all. Below you will find a link to Ducky's "Where To Buy" section. Find the UK and select any of the sites. Like the US, most are sold out, but you can keep checking back. In addition, CCL online (I will also link below) has a "notify me" button to be notified when it's back in stock. www.duckychannel.com.tw/en/location/global www.cclonline.com/search/?q=ducky+one+2+mini Hope it helps you or someone else in the UK. Thanks!
I just bought it recently, but I got purple extra key caps. I want to get red or blue key caps at first. This white keyboard is so beautiful. Hope you can watch my first unbox video and give me some support, but I have poor editing skill.
The Ducky is going to be a bit more compact. Design is a toss-up, just depends on what you like. Build quality is solid on both. I would go with the Ducky because the design is more of my taste, and it is cheaper than the G Pro. Can't go wrong with either. Let me know which one you get!
Mine came with pinkish keycaps (1:45) and their keyboards come with a key removal tool (4:20). Ducky typically packages random colored keycaps to replace as you wish. However, mine did not come with a colored spacebar. It did come with a plain white spacebar if you don't like the one with a design. Some may come with colored spacebars but mine did not. Mine came with colored backspace, escape, shift and arrow keys. VERY easy to swap out keycaps with their removal tool. Hope this helps!
You would just have to hold function then select the keys when needed. However, if you consistently play games that require a lot of those function keys (or keys not on this board) then I would recommend a full size keyboard over this.

Default should all be off. In other words, if you are looking at the back of the keyboard, they should all be switched to the left...away from the words, but close to the numbers.
I am thinking of buying this keyboard since my Anne pro 2 had key chatter within 4 months. But I don’t know if I should buy the ducky because people have said they got key chattering within 3 or 1 month of use.
This is my daily use keyboard and I have not noticed any key chatter at all. I can't speak for every keyboard they ship, but I have used 2 Ducky's and neither have suffered from key chattering. MURPH FRAGS oh I though they do cause I think seeing a vid of one but a long time ago but I’m suprised they don’t cause it’s such a good keyboard I get me

I had a white mouse and black mousepad so went with the white keyboard for a white/black theme and the white on black looks great!
@@kofuuz192 I have the Glorious Model O. It is a great mouse and the color/design match this keyboard great. You can see my review on it here: ruclips.net/video/SlIkU4Eituc/видео.html
I'm not really sure. If you are trying to get the RGB rotation like mine hold both windows keys down at the same time for about 5 seconds. It should reset to how mine is by default. If that's not what you're asking let me know and i'll try to be of further assistance.
Try to offer to do chores. Yardwork for the summer in exchange for the keyboard would be a good trade. Also, when all else fails...sucking up is always a great option. Good luck my friend.
It's not the mic it is actually my editing. I edit some "ums," "buts," or just edit out dead spots out of the video. This was the first review I ever did and edited so it's harsh in some spots....my newer videos are much better as I've gotten a little better at editing.
No yellowing or fading at all. They are very dirt resistant. I take a Lysol wipe and wipe them down once a week just because the flu is going around right now and to sanitize and that keeps them clean and hasn't caused any fading either.
These are VERY popular keyboards. Your best bet is to buy them from their actual vendor at the link in the description. It should tell you the approximate restock date when you select your key switches. In my experience, they ship before that date...but it's not a guarantee. It looks like most of their selections will be back in stock by the end of the month as of today. I hope you find one soon!
The space bar comes with the keyboard, ducky exclusively gives out certain year of the whatever to people, when he got it it was the year of the pig, when i got mine i got the year of the rabbit, you get whatever their doing at the time so yours will be different from someone who got it 2 months ago
Last I checked they were shipping out "Year of the Rat" spacebars...although I know someone who ordered one about a month ago that still got year of the pig.
I ordered the ducky one 2 mini off of the mechanical keyboards website and ordered 1 day shipping and its been 3 days and still nothing. Anyone else have this problem?
Did it say it was backordered or in stock? Also, they are closed weekends. If you ordered Friday or this weekend it should ship out very soon assuming the switch type you chose was in stock.
Im looking at buying this keyboard, ill be using it for minecraft pvp and my question is for the people that own one, was it worth the money and does it work for any computer?
I'm sure you're looking for others to let you know, but I've owned it for 8 months and it was worth the money to me. It will work for any computer with a USB port.
MURPH FRAGS awesome! I was wondering how long it took for yours to come, after its been restocked of course but i live in australia and i would think america’s postage would be WAY quicker.
@@tayla1995I can't remember exactly, but I do know it got restocked before the date on the website. It shipped like 3-5 days early and got here in 3 days (I selected the 3 day shipping option).
They are the exact same except for color scheme. The layout and function are the same, just go with whichever one you feel looks better for your setup. If you are asking which is the best Ducky in general, The Mini, SF, and TKL are all great and operate very similarly, it would just depend on your size preference.
I agree. I think I mentioned in the video I feel they need to add software rgb support. It's still serviceable as is though. Also being in the keyboard it makes it possible to have rgb options without a pc, for example if you have it connected to an XBOX or something. I wish they had both though.
@@MURPHFRAGS That's not what I said or meant. I said it is better NOT having software based control software. I'm sure many like myself are fewd up of running these bloated control softwares - I presently have Icue, nzxt cam and aura running on my pc and don't wish anymore. This is why i'm looking at getting a Ducky which has its rgb control built in.
@@malccy72 Sorry, I misread your comment. I agree. I kind of wish they had a software option for those who want it or convenience, but I don't really miss it. If I had to choose between the two though I would rather have it as is as well.
Yo do you think the board is still worth it rn? Or is there better ones? Im also looking for satisfying swtiches such as the cherry MX brown (im my opinion)
I’m actually making a video about that this week (is it still worth it in 2021). The short answer is yes, but there are a lot of good options on the market right now that weren’t a year ago. One of the best for the money right now is the Hyper X Alloy Origins 60. There are several others that would be good options as well. But, the Ducky is still a great board with tons of switch options. The lack of software is the main thing holding it back these days, but if you don’t adjust your macros or lighting on a regular basis that may not matter to you. As far as switches that are satisfying, Browns are good. Blues are good as well but pretty loud. Also check out Zealios switches. Switches are always hard to recommend though because it’s a huge personal preference thing. Good luck and let me know if you have any other questions and what you decide on.
@@MURPHFRAGS Ok thank you ill look into the hyperx, im just asking because people were telling me the ducky is overpriced and this one person said that "you should buy a gk61 lube the switches and maybe get some stabillzers and lube and clip em and get some keycaps"
@@flaze603 The GK61 is a great option for the price. It is also hotswappable so you can swap out the switches if you prefer and can also lube them if you buy the necessary supplies/gear. That makes it a little better for finding switches you like as well because it has a 5 pin PCB so you can swap in whatever you like if you buy them (but come with Gateron Browns as well which are decent). I would stick with the mechanical switches and not their optical switches though. Another decent white board for the money is the Redragon K530. Not as many switch options, but solid and come with Redragon branded Gateron Browns.
Hmmmm. It's really personal preference but I went with white because I think it looks a little cleaner and most of my setup is white/black and it just fit in really well. The black mini is super nice too though so can't go wrong either way. Let me know which one you go with!
I got the rk61 wired and when I hooked it up it kept disconnecting and connecting non stop and now I’m thinking or refunding and getting this instead with the cooler master mm711 but idk why the rk61 didn’t work
This would be a step up from the RK61, but i'm suprised it didn't work. I would try to narrow down the problem before buying an even more expensive keyboard just in case it's an issue with your USB port or firmware. Maybe try to find/borrow another keyboard to see if it works just to narrow down the issue. BUT, you will love the Ducky for sure.
Should I get the royal kludg kg71the white one in your video or this now I like this keyboard in the video cause of how bright it is but I want it to be bright but I don’t know which one is brighter so I need help plz respond
The RK71 is a good bit cheaper, has more keys, and still fairly bright. However this Ducky is just a touch brighter, comes in more switch types, and is a slight step up in build quality. The RK71 is a good board for the money, but if size and quality are priority I would go for the ducky. Really can't go wrong with either though and the RK71 is still bright.
Yes it will. Keyboard support on PS4 is pretty limited in general though. However, if you are already familiar with keyboards on PS4 this will work the same way that other keyboards do. The spacebar comes with it, but yours may be different (just depends on the year). It comes with one "Year of the ___" edition that looks cool like mine, then one regular one if you prefer to use that one.
This was WAY higher quality then i expected keep it up

@@ayden4674 haha my english kinda sucks LMAO
You can get one of these on amazon
Im late to the video, but i have a question, where are the f1, f2 ofc. keys
? xd
Hold down the Function (Fn) key then press 1-0 and the = key. they are labeled.
Why are they all sold out like on every website?
These are VERY popular keyboards. Your best bet is to buy them from their actual vendor at the link in the description. It should tell you the approximate restock date when you select your key switches. In my experience, they ship before that date...but it's not a guarantee. It looks like most of their selections will be back in stock by the end of the month as of today. I hope you find one soon!
Just got mine today and I like the year of the rat space bar but I hate the feeling of the year of key caps because it’s ingraved into it
I haven't heard that complaint before but I could see how some people could feel that way. I'll have to mention that in my next ducky review.
Get the black and custom keycaps it just looks better
looking back, this is a prety good quality video to be your first vid
Keep it up tou doing amazing
Keep it up youre the best
Nice 666 subs 😳
I saw that and was like 😨😰
Ok but everyone has the ducky sign on their space bar.. where are you guys getting that? 💀🤦🏼♂️😂
The space bar comes with the keyboard, ducky exclusively gives out certain year of the whatever to people, when he got it it was the year of the pig, when i got mine i got the year of the rabbit, you get whatever their doing at the time so yours will be different from someone who got it 2 months ago
@@tx1027 ohhhh wait so what is 2020's sign?
Last I checked they were shipping out "Year of the Rat" spacebars...although I know someone who ordered one about a month ago that still got year of the pig.
@@MURPHFRAGS oh now I get this ducky thing.. why not put a ducky on the space bar, it is called a ducky one 2 minute after all
@@Aki-zg4me Dunno, it's just their thing lol. Keeps it fresh every year. I think it's pretty cool but may not be for everyone.
MURPH FRAGS well thats promising, im guessing your’re american though?
@@tayla1995 Yes I am.
I have the exact same mouse and I ordered the exact same keyboard 4 days ago 😂
Great combo lol
Hyperx alloy fps and this keyboard are fantastic
130€ in my country, is it worth?
Is the frozen llama better than the pure white? I’m getting a keyboard and I’m having trouble picking one, If you can, what is the best ducky keyboard
They are the exact same except for color scheme. The layout and function are the same, just go with whichever one you feel looks better for your setup. If you are asking which is the best Ducky in general, The Mini, SF, and TKL are all great and operate very similarly, it would just depend on your size preference.
Ok thank you 🙏
How is the keyboard holding up? Like over time
Solid. No issues after 6-8 months.
MURPH FRAGS where do you buy it at
@@roysifus2814 Link in description. Will also post below. mechanicalkeyboards.com/shop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=5027
are the switches removable in this keyboard so i could lube them myself for smoother press?
The switches aren't removable exactly, but if you remove the keycaps you should have enough access to apply a little lube if necessary.
What is the best switch?
WTF? Not being software based rgb controlled is one of it's most attractive features - have you ever used nzxt cam or Corsair Icue?
@@MURPHFRAGS A gracious and humble reply. Big respect to you.
@@MURPHFRAGS ..and thank you for the heart thingy - never had one before so many thanks.
Nice video!
@@MURPHFRAGS Also no im looking for satisfying switches and just a good looking board, but some of the cheaper boards dont offer that many switches
@@MURPHFRAGS Also I forgot to tell you but im looking for a white board since it matches my model o
I'm asking this for my birthday, black or white? My bd is on the 5th of August
Hmmmm. It's really personal preference but I went with white because I think it looks a little cleaner and most of my setup is white/black and it just fit in really well. The black mini is super nice too though so can't go wrong either way. Let me know which one you go with!
@@MURPHFRAGS Probably the black one because it's the only one available in my country. It has black switches too so not bad!
Is this the silent version
Yes. The one in this video has the Cherry MX Silent Reds.
Zealio V2 67g swithces, now in zilent version. all the way all day
I got the rk61 wired and when I hooked it up it kept disconnecting and connecting non stop and now I’m thinking or refunding and getting this instead with the cooler master mm711 but idk why the rk61 didn’t work
This would be a step up from the RK61, but i'm suprised it didn't work. I would try to narrow down the problem before buying an even more expensive keyboard just in case it's an issue with your USB port or firmware. Maybe try to find/borrow another keyboard to see if it works just to narrow down the issue. BUT, you will love the Ducky for sure.
MURPH FRAGS yeah today ima try to connect my friends ducky board and see if it works or if it’s my USB ports
Does this keyboard light up white?
Does this work for ps4/xbox? Also did the spacebar design come like that or did u have to buy it?
Yes it will. Keyboard support on PS4 is pretty limited in general though. However, if you are already familiar with keyboards on PS4 this will work the same way that other keyboards do.
The spacebar comes with it, but yours may be different (just depends on the year). It comes with one "Year of the ___" edition that looks cool like mine, then one regular one if you prefer to use that one.
MURPH FRAGS ok thank you so much
Mine comes on Saturday
They do have a software
Do you have to put the keys on or does it come with the keyboard keys it’s self
These are the keycaps that come on the board out of the box.
@@MURPHFRAGS so do you have to put them on
@@alamepersonnn They come on the board already.
@@MURPHFRAGS ok thank you
