The former Concordia Quarterback and high school stand out athlete was visiting friends in Fargo, using his fish house as a camper, when it filled with propane and he lit that match.

76% TBSA, and he only spent 38 days in the burn unit. That's remarkable. I've spent a lot of time in the hospital, as I have a rare condition that leaves me on a ventilator, with a feeding tube, pretty much completely blind, unable to do much at all. I'm dying of a rare disease that they can do nothing about, but this guy is a walking miracle! This guy went through something that's beyond painful. He went probably every morning to a shower room where the burned skin was scraped off of his body. He probably screamed in agony. Most patients going through that do. Yet Look where he is today.
Awful accident. And another similar house exploded just the other day. Awful.
I hate to see the hospital bills.
Dang, wish I could talk to that guy..I was in a flash fire recently and only got burned on 36% of my body and I feel like I'm never going to recover..It's been a tough journey.. Most painful thing I've ever experienced in my life. I have a whole new respect for fire.
