I've tried Private Label last year, in Paris, and it left me perplexed. It is one of the richest and deepest fragrances out there. I love the rough vetiver note. An amazing scent overall.
When it comes to which jovoy fragrance I'd like to sample, it would definitely have to be L'Art de la Guerre. Not often do you get a rhubarb note in a fragrance, so that's the main reason. I heard it's a very masculine scent.

You completely sold me on this! I haven't heard too much of this house but when you mentioned leather, papyrus and patchouli, you definitely caught my attention. Reading some of the reviews on Fragrantica, almost more than 90% of the reviewers LOVE this scent which says a lot. I'm going to the Jovoy Facebook page now! If I won a bottle, I'm sure that my husband and I will both be wearing this on date night, haha! ~ Molly H.

Great review and great channel. I've recently subscribed and been watching lots of your uploads. I just found out through an old post that you're a teacher and that you studied post colonial lit at college. Snap! Ok, going to comment for the first time on RUclips.....first off. Love your channel. Always very informative......So I checked out the Jovoy line. If I could sample any other fragrance besides the one you reviewed, it would have to be "Jus Interdit". I would love to try this exotic sounding scent based on their description. I've heard lot's about Oud, but have not tried any Oud fragrances yet. But the notes of patchouli and Amber are some of my favorite notes. Private Label sounds Amazing as well, I also like the sandalwood, patchouli and leather combo............I do have to say, I work in a Casino and have spent hundreds of dollars on "strong" fragrances but none have outlasted the night........would love to try Private Label to see if it outlasts the night as it sounds it would. I love heavy hitter colognes and would like to win this. Thanks for your time.

This is my favourite fragrance for a long time! and what i really could not understand is choosing Incident instead Private Label )) And for me is allrounder scent

I just checked the brand on Fragrantica. There are many interesting fragrances. I love white florals, so would probably try "Gardez Moi". Also "L'Enfant Terrible" seems interesting. I would like to try "Private Label" as well.

Yeah After sampling Private Label, Psychedelique, and Incident Diplomatique - I ended up "quickly" buying big bottles of all 3. I've never done that with any house! My only genuine complaint is Incident Diplomatique doesn't project as well as the others, I'm not even certain if I'd call it average projection.
Did u get the same projection issues with Incident Diplomatique?? Something if maybe I could have bad bottle or something
I collected a sample of jus interdit at the jovoy store in Paris. (a perfume heaven for any scent lover, they have every brand that matters) and they just added a sample of this one! Loved it and would be really happy to win it...

I love Psychedelique, my local purveyors at Fumerie Parfumerie gave me a sample of that to check out, and they gave my friend a sample of Rouge Assassin, as she loved the name.
