I brought out my entire Jovoy fragrances collection of 12 or 13 fragrances and since Dalya is a fan of Jovoy I asked her to rank my favorite Jovoy Fragrances. This is a Top 10 list so we did leave some off but Dalya ranks my Top 10 Jovoy Fragrances. If you like cumin notes in perfume just try rasasi daarej and rasasi tasmeem. Inexpensive fragrances from a niche brand. Both of them have cardamom and vanilla too.

L’art de la guerre - my favorite from this brand. I don’t know why no one mentions it. Beautiful classy immortele with an amazing sillage.
I used a 50ml bottle of L’art de la guerre. I don’t think the sillage is huge. It’s ok, noticeable but not enough to have a sillage more than 7/10.
I haven't had the opportunity to try anything from the Jovoy Fragrance line, but they sound like some high quality and well crafted fragrances that I would love to try.

Private Label is my number one, although it wasn't an instant love for me. It's quite a brutal scent in some ways. I definitely get the animalic oud reference. Pavillon Rouge is my number two from Jovoy x

Great list, and amazing discussion about scents perception, as always, between you and Dalia. But 1 scent for me is missing, L'Art de la Guerre, very unique take on fougere style. Rhubarb and immortelle. If I'll prepare today list of top 10 rhubarb scents (yes, I like this note), this probably would be the number one.

I have enjoyed Jovoy for quite some time now owning around a dozen or so with Les Jeux Sont Fait, Ambre Premier, and Psychedelique being the ones I reach for most often followed by La Liturgie Des Heures and L’Art De La Guerre. Cheers

Impressive! Well done, Dalya! Ranking all Jovoy fragrangrances...now this is a challenging undertaking. 😁🏆Dried fruit jam...that sounds so yummy. 🍍Dalya, I love Cumin. I add it to all my dinners. And I love Gourmands. 🍫 And I love Incense. OMG. I also love Fig Notes. Philosykos has too much Coconut.🥥 Wish I had every one of those Jovoy selections except for Millesimee. Not at all partial to Rose.🌹Patchouli is my absolute favorite ABOVE all else. Big YES to Psychedelique at #1. 🌿🍃😎

Hi Sebastian & Dalya. Great video. I have Incident Diplomatique. I bought some samples online at Jovoy and after trying some, my favourites are: La lithurgie des heures and Red Pavillon. Some others that appear in your video are well crafted fragrances but not for my taste; some I haven’t smelled them yet. I’d like to try L’Arbre de la connaîssance, for example, and Psychedelique. The latter I will definitely try when I can put some money aside.
Only tried Remembered Me and I loved it. Hope to visit the Jovoy store in Paris soon
I love Gardez Moi! I haven't tried any of the others you mentioned, I don't think. It sounds like I'd remember if I had. L’ARBRE DE LA CONNAISSANCE is on my must-try list now.

I love jovoy! Jovoy has got some big complex scents that project and most of their scents are like that.. it"s not light or airy…. it"s in your face and out there.. and i love them!!

I love almost every release from jovoy except rouge assassin simply because I'm not an iris fan, such an amazing house. Extremely creative and high quality and the price is very reasonable (If you are in France).
I recently fell in love with Gardez moi by Jovoy. I like a lot Rose millésime. The quality is very good.

Great video! This is my first time hearing about this house. Since Dalya likes incense, ask her which of these fragrances is close to or similar to Jeroboam Vespero? I went back and checked my drawer of samples and found Psychedelique!

Don't really care for psychedelique...😢 I find it way stronger than private label. Love incident diplomatique though. Remember me is fantastic. Even with the lactonic accord it is quite unisex, there's a tenderness to it. Jovoy's enfant terrible to me is way nearer to dyptique's philosykos as a fig fragrance while L'arbre de la connassaince uses fig leaves more than the fruit itself and it's less milky, way greener, a lymphatic, vaguely poisonous scent. Intriguing, possibly a signature fragrance.

About mimosa: when I collaborated with Sven from SP Parfums I wanted to create a unique powdery perfume and any powdery perfumes have iris in them so I wanted to use something different I went for mimosa. In 2018 that was absolutely NOT a trendy note and our creation Powder & Dust turned out (after many trials) to be absolutely one of a kind and that's for it even won the most prestigious artistic award "Art & Olfaction Award for a best artistic perfume of 2019" and then I noticed other niche brands focused on mimosa like Love Mimosa by Amouage, Touche Finale (which is so beautiful I smelled it just once but it was soo soo pretty) and a few others...So maybe me and Sven started a mimosa trend?:)

Hello Sebastian I see that Jovoy Paris has a new fragrance that is exclusive to the new London store which inspires the name 21 conduit st. It appears to be a barbershop inspired fragrance Lavender Almond vetiver is listed. I see that it is listed on Fragrantica but sadly no reviews as of yet. From my years of French in school, and spending much time in France, Jovoy, would be pronounced Jov-WAH. Since it's a name it could be non gaullic ? Hence the Jov-OY. Love your videos Sebastian !
