Nobody ever talked about Unforsaken but it’s been my favorite Kerosene fragrance for years. That sprinkling of coconut on the citrus makes me so happy.

I love John's fragrances. They were the first indie/niche house I really got into. I know everyone loves his gourmands, but I love his dark, smoky, and brooding scents. Blackmail, Fields of Rubus, and Sacred Memory are my faves. So sad he's discontinuing the latter two of those, as well as several others, on September 1st. I'm kind of shocked Fields of Rubus didn't make your list, especially since it has so much lovely patchouli in it. I love it, it blends with the blackberry and raspberry so well.
I have both Follow and Unknown Pleasures, thanks to you, Sebastian! I love wearing them!! ❤
I have "Follow" and "Followed" Like them both, and, like you said, Followed lasts longer than any other fragrance I have tried. And that statement, coming from a man that has such a large collection of perfumes, is worth believing. You have inspired me to try "Wood Haven" Thank you for another great video!
I'm a huge fan of Kerosene Fragrances, and I have been for years. I currently own Unknown Pleasures, and every time I wear it, it invokes those halcyon moments for me. I'm going to purchase Followed next month, and I can't wait to get it! Great video as always, Sebastian! Cheers!

My top 3, Follow, Unknown Pleasures and Sweetly Known! I love to layer a vanilla favorite on Follow and wear it to work, it’s a nice pick me up!
As we spoke about when you were here, I've not smelled any of them but I'm hopeful that one day a boutique here will pick-up the brand and I'll have the opportunity.
You mentioned to me how Followed was crazy beast mode. I love the idea of maple syrup as a fragrance, though. I was a bit disappointed by Scents Of Wood Praline In Maple because I wanted more maple. Anyway, cool video. All these fragrances sound pretty good the way you describe them.
I LOVE Unknown Pleasures! I was so lucky to win a full bottle of my choosing from an IG giveaway of theirs, and Unknown Pleasures was a no-brainer. A shop near me (Chicago) sells decants, so in addition to their discovery set, I have additional decants of Follow, Sweetly Known, Walk the Sea, and Winter of ‘99.

I love the fragrance, Pretty Machine. It has a beautiful linden blossom note.
My fav for all season wear is Unknown Pleasures and in winter I like a small glancing blow of Followed. I’ve wanted to sample Winter of ‘99…hopefully the store that carries Kerosene around here will have it.
Black Vines is my #1 Kerosene. This was made for black licorice and/or star anise fans. Nothing in my collection smells like this fragrance. It’s in my top 5 for life.

Unknown Pleasures is lovely. It pulls a little coconut for me. My husband says it smells kind of like the those Danish butter cookies from the blue tins.
Also really enjoy Sweetly Known-- kind of that burnt caramel scent. It kind of reminds me of going to a carnival.
I love Kerosene, and Unknown Pleasures was my first niche perfume. John posted on his IG stories that as of Sept. 1, the following fragrances are sadly being discontinued: Black Vines, Canfield Cedar, Fields of Rubus, Sacred Memory, Triptych, Unforsaken, and Wood Haven.
I wore followed last winter and i can still smell it when I open my perfume cabinet. It is the most nuclear fragrance I've ever encountered.

I’m a fan of this house, and my favorite is Broken Theories. It’s more smoky and less sweet than Blackmail. From the notes I would think this is right up your alley, Seb. Have you tried it?

Black Vines is my favorite and the ultimate licorice / anise scent. Scent Bar in still sells it.
Copper Skies sounds very interesting Sebastian as Tobacco is my favorite note, but now you got me hooked on Gin Fragrances 😱😁. What would you say is the brightest from this house, I like Follow which I know is dark and FOLOWED is beyond NUCLEARLOL. Cheers Brutha 😎
Really interested in winter of 99 and unknown pleasures
I'm a big fan of Kerosene. My favorite #1 is Broken Theories, which is high underrated and I'm surprised it doesn't generate more buzz in the fragrance community. I have plenty tied for #2. Sadly, my last picked (Winter of 99) didn't really grab my affection. Hopefully I'll feel a bit differently about it in the Fall. Cheers.

Followed is the yummiest coffee fragrance I own and Dirty Flowers is another banger that reminds me of Amouage’s Opus 9

Love Kerosene, Unknown Pleasures was one of my first niche purchases and never fails to get compliments. Blackmail, Unforsaken, Sweetly Unknown, Follow and Followed are also my favorite list. Followed is just bombastic, I spray two spray on myself but I go outside when applying or my whole house is in danger of being engulfed😂
Kerosene made me fully realize the value of quality fragrance. I have Unknown Pleasures, WOW it's beautiful, and two sprays, even *one* spray lasts forever! Literally until I shower. Compare that to similarly priced fragrances I have to spray 10 times and they're undetectable in 4 hours. That means this bottle will last me ages and ages. I can't wait to acquire more Kerosene!
Unknown Pleasures is one of my favorite fragrances of all time. I'm on on my third bottle.

I only own Sweetly Known but it's incredible. It's sort of like what I wished MM's By the Fireplace was going to smell like.
This video is right on time. I’ve been considering going to Ministry of Scent to pick up Follow after watching your previous review and a review by Aaron Terence Hughes. It was so warm in SF today I didn’t want to sample a fall scent😂
I will make it this weekend but now also interested in Winter of 99 so we’ll see which one wins!

if you like licorice you need black vines! I got it the day before it got discontinued and then bought a back up bottle.

I had a sample of Walk the Sea that was such an intriguing ambergris scent. I bought it only to find it was all white flowers. They smelled so different from each other that i wonder if the formula changed?

I got a sample of followed and yes it's nuclear!! I still find Mashumaro stronger but it may be because its sweeter. Still want to try a lot from the brand. Thanks for the List Sebastian!!!

My favorite is Unknown pleasures. That was love at first sniff. I have that in the collection and I like it more than Akro Bake. I like Akro Awake more than Kerosene Follow.

I only talk about performance when they are overwhelmingly intense. Otherwise they perform moderate. So best to get samples and test yourself. To me some are intense but when I say that then someone says they don't last. Best to test how they perform on you but I know FOLLOWED is overwhelming! :)

Followed should come with a hazard warning ⚠️ lol 😂. This juice is so potent you need to spray it outdoors to prevent choking people out. I only purchased a bottle recently and my partner asked me to get rid of it as it’s way too overpowering. Longevity of this on skin 3 days. In a room 2 weeks, on clothes it lasts forever.
followed is worth every penny...i love how powerful and strong it is one spray and you're done...more fragrances need to be like this.

@@fan6.s i wouldn't say "curry" smell...there is a weird under tone which some people won't like if you over spray ( only one spray is needed)....best thing i can say it get a sample...i get mostly coffee with maple syrup and cream but all our noses are different....it's a bit too expensive to do a blind buy so really test it out..i hope i have helped. :)

They are discontinuing 6 or 7 fragrances. I also noticed that their logo on the website is different so maybe a new collection is coming, or they are just scaling down the business. I was interested in R’Oud Elements from the brand. It was the first fragrance he created and he says it’s still his favorite. Didn’t make the list so not sure if you don’t have it or just don’t like it.

kerosene has quickly become my favorite house. In my opinion the best fragrances are ones where you can close your eyes and picture yourself in a place where that scent would take you. With Followed, i'm in a cozy diner and i've just been served pancakes and coffee, broken theories, i'm sitting around a smouldering campfire in the woods, walk the sea? i'm on the beach and just put on sunscreen, watching the waves wash over the sand

They have some really good stuff. It's an interesting house because he seems to do two primary types of scents: crazy strong gourmands and dark, smoky woods. So, if you like either of those families of fragrances, he's got you covered. I prefer the dark and woody stuff, but everything he makes is top-tier quality.

I've tried adding several perfumes from Maison Tahite and Essential Parfums, no luck with either.
Followed sounds so good when people are describing it but I’m kinda scared to buy it because of how strong people say it is. I wouldn’t want to be repulsive to others.
It’s strong but it’s a light scent profile so it doesn’t ever become overpowering or too strong. It’s basically a insanely projecting fragrance.

Does Unknown Pleasure compare do Xerjoff Lira?
Similar ideas but UP has the lemon tartness compared to the sweetness of the Orange. I find lemons and oranges to be quite different. So once you get past that you might find them similar.
The perfume house that apparently hates Europe. I'm more likely to find a dragon egg than a Kerosene perfume somewhere in or near my country. Any Europeans know where to sample them?

Never tried this house before
Off topic. Just opened my full bottle of Jazz Club. I can see solids at the bottom (not a lot) about the amount of a few grains of sand. Juice seems to smell right. Should I be worried? Amazon being Amazon gave me a refund for it and let me keep it. Thoughts?
I think it's fine just like wine there's residue collected in the bottom of the bottle. If it smells fine it should be good to go. But if you are concerned contact your retailer and tell them! :)

I gotta say. When I wear Followed. I WEAR it. I don’t mean choking people out. You only need two sprays.
I mean. If I put it on, with two sprays, I make it a point to populate the entire space I’m in. If I go to a grocery store for milk, I walk down every aisle past the most people I see.
If I go to a department store, I look for the areas with the lost people, and just do a circuit around them.
At the gas pump? I walk to every pump and “examine” the windshield cleaner wands.
If Followed was a virus, I would be patient zero.
Love that stuff so much.
I once got my phone stolen at an amusement park, went to a phone store afterwards. I hadn’t worn Followed for over a month.
I pull out my wallet and the customer service rep says, why do I smell waffles and maple syrup? I said, “it’s probably me…I have an everlasting perfume that I haven’t sprayed in over a month, and I think maybe it’s on my wallet (I have never sprayed my walllet with anything). “
She kept smelling it and getting wafts of it and kept just making these eyes like she was constantly getting slapped with the occasional scent. And it does. You smell nothing, then you smell as if you’re in a Waffle House, dennys, ihop. It’s freaking crazy.
And yes. It lasts for-freaking-ever. And everyone loves it.
