Malcom Young though, he's always been the real artistic genius and he's the dynamo in the back driving the entire sound. Everyone kinda forgets because Brian and Angus are up front doing their jobs to draw all the attention; but Malcom is the little guy in the back often overshadowed by his own guitar, that is the true driving force behind every song. Malcom is laying down the rhythm that controls it all, that the others (including the massive audience) is all feeding off of. Every single song that AC/DC ever wrote, recorded or performed was being controlled by little head banging Malcom in the back, his tempo, his energy and his direction on every single song. Yes. I only saw them once live. The Palace, Auburn Hills, now torn down…but your point is well taken. I went to the show with reservation… whoa! There was no warm up. The sign of musical greatness lies in longevity. The fact that third and fourth gen listeners of AC/DC, and other great rock bands, are still falling in love with and rocking out to these classics is amazing and a true testament to the existence of Rock and Roll. Styles come and go but the spirit of Rock, having been released 70 years ago, can never be sealed away again. Even if the Earth is doomed tomorrow, there's still that copy of Chuck Berry's 'Johnny B Goode' on the voyager probes for someone to find. Something will find it and Rock will rise once again.
the last big show of AC/Dc was this one in Buenos Aires, Argentina at the River Play Stadium. R. I. P. Maycon Iangus, master of guitar alongside brother Angus Iangus.
Brian Johnson (vocals) is older than the other members of AC/DC (He was the same age as the previous singer Bon Scott)... He had been singing in Newcastle, UK since the late 60's and formed the band Geordie in the 70's, which released 3 records before breaking up in 1976. When Bon Scott passed away in early 1980, Brian Johnson was destitute, working in a factory and trying to get gigs for a new version of Geordie... He got a call from an AC/DC staffer about auditioning for the band. He never thought he would be picked, but he was a fan of their music, and he clicked w/ the band right away... So, he joined the band by April 1980. He's been their vocalist since... However, in 2016, a hearing issue resulted in him being replaced on tour by Guns N' Roses singer Axl Rose. However, Brian Johnson did sing on their last studio album 'Power Up' in 2020. Brian Johnson's singing style was made for AC/DC... he can sing in a clean voice too! But AC/DC's music demanded a certain screech... and he delivered that style of rock vocals like Little Richard-meets-Robert Plant...
Saw AC/DC back in Oct'82 at Hammersmith Odeon, London .. mid-week gig got home about 1am .. into school for 8a.m and didn't hear a single thing in any of my lessons for next couple of days. Great days!
I don't recall you ever smiling that hard for that long- your face must've hurt-lol. A supremely iconic voice that was made for Rock paired with masters of Blues Rock- the very fabric of Rock history.
Can you imagine the adrenaline rush by being on a stage that size and commanding an audience that size? And on top of that a South American crowd that imo are the best in the world! I love your reaction vids, thank you.
Iconic with being gracious! Brian is the real deal so nice & the type you have conversation with & he wants to know about your life. Never met Angus or Malcolm rip ,Phil
Gotta love Angus Young on guitar. He used to run home from school, in his uniform, each afternoon to practise with the band. His sister thought it would be a good idea for him to perform in his school uniform, and he’s been doing it, in some form, ever since.
I'm sorry? Floor seats? You were sitting down at an AC/DC concert? Wow, just Wow........ I saw Crowded House live once and it was an all seater theatre, great band, but worst gig ever. You couldn't get up and dance, they were actively policing the aisles to keep them clear of people.... plus I had the Flu which didn't help either......
Kudos....... you made the video about the band and not about you you are only on about a third of the screen which most people put themselves on 90% of the screen and your reaction was genuine, authentic and full of love and appreciation so I will watch and listen to you now from this day forward!

AC/DC Is such a unique sound and experience IMO. Some may say their songs sound the same, but I cannot get mad at it, simply because I have not heard anything quite like them. There is a certain mood or vibe that they can uniquely give me, and it feels great. Thanks for reacting to this.
As someone who has seen AC/DC i highly recommend going to a concert at least once, you will be even more amazed1 The energy is off the charts and the sound is perfection! There are few bands on this planet bigger then AC/DC and have meant more to rock then them!
I saw on CNN once that if album charts were based on sales and nothing else then AC/DC would have had the number one album since the early 90s with Back in Black. It sells that many copies every week.
I've never seen them live but i would love to before they retire. The crowd at this concert was just INSANE! I fully agree they sound great live and they put their heart and soul into the show. Their energy is unmatched by any other band and I i really respect thar about them and how much they love their fans. IMO, Thunderstruck is the best song they ever wrote.
I love how most of the band is in comfortable clothes while Angus is rocking the same schoolboy look he's had since the 70s. Also, as iconic as Brian's voice is, I'm curious what the band would be like if Bon was still around.

Great days!
AC/DC was the most popular and beloved rock band by young people in the USSR. Number one in the world of rock music!!!❤❤❤🇷🇺
I don't recall you ever smiling that hard for that long- your face must've hurt-lol. A supremely iconic voice that was made for Rock paired with masters of Blues Rock- the very fabric of Rock history.
I Had the pleasure of seeing them on 4 different concert tours and They Always put on a Great Show!!!
4:23 One of the few bands i can honestly and genuinely respect both vocalists for both the same and different things🤘❤🤟
I’ve only missed one AC/DC tour since 75. Too much fun, and you dance all night in Dallas!!
Can you imagine the adrenaline rush by being on a stage that size and commanding an audience that size? And on top of that a South American crowd that imo are the best in the world!
I love your reaction vids, thank you.
sadly you will never know how powerful an ac/dc concert is.THIS IS HISTORY!!!! GO ANGUS!!!!!!!
There is A DVD of this. I've seen their intro animation. It sums up ACDC and the concert perfectly. Epic is the word :)
If I had a time machine, I would use my only trip to attend this concert to see ACDC and this legendary crowd.
Oh dude! Then we'd have to travel back to when they were just a bar band back in Australia.
CRAZY. I saw them with monique live in 2000 In Vancouver. Floor seats. Was AMAZING ❤
What is most important to the band is the complete enjoyment of their audience and it shows in every song they do.
saw this live in Toronto in 1994 loudest concert i have ever been too. Ears rang for 3 days.
3:14 At this moment, the background vocals are so overwhelming that it's hellish!👹👹👹👹👹👹
AC/DC is the mold for rock bands. Every rock band out there looks up to them. All of them.
Kudos....... you made the video about the band and not about you you are only on about a third of the screen which most people put themselves on 90% of the screen and your reaction was genuine, authentic and full of love and appreciation so I will watch and listen to you now from this day forward!
...and I absolutely loved the sheer joy you displayed during this.
I love, love, live your react Beauty! Absolutely Amazing performance! No more words! See you at the next 🤟🏻🦊🇯🇵🔥🔥🔥
"Some people have said we've made 10 albums that all sound exactly the same. I'm offended by that. The fact is we've made TWELVE albums that all sound exactly the same" - Angus Young
I got to see the last performance they ever did in the Tacoma dome. They canceled the rest of the tour. So grateful to have been there. Iconic.
What tour was that?
@@mikecoughlin4128 It was 2016 I think. Tacoma was the first stop on the tour and they canceled the rest of it. Brian was having hearing problems.
@@timstanley9161 I thought Axel Rose finished that tour for Brian.
@@mikecoughlin4128 I don't know but I just remember them canceling it. Maybe he did. But that's not AC/DC in my book. And i like Axel. I saw him in the forum. It was awesome.
AC/DC should be consumed live :) Yes, they are no p themselves. Very down-to-earth, humble bunch of guys doing what they love. BTW each song had a unique stage set ... awesome
They love doing this, they love been there, u can see it, u can feel it, u can even taste it... they ARE music. And that's just insane...
When AC/DC was first around playing pubs in NSW, Australia, Angus was only 15 or 16 and so had to leave the hotel after playing the gig.
AC/DC was the best concert by far I've ever been to
How about those 200 thousands plus backup singers LOL now that's a concert
River plate was a party like no other best live concert in history no one is better than the THUNDER FROM DOWN UNDER nobody
A true and honest reaction here. Well done, a free spirit coming out for a few minutes of fun.
Iconic doesn't even begin to describe this performance. You can tell our hostess is getting damp.
For me ac/dc is the best rock group..either you start in music or you are a professional you just take so much pleasure playing some ac/DC songs 🤘🤘😍
Saw them live in concert in Dublin never to be forgotten.
Ac⚡️Dc always number one in my book.
more ac dc live in river plate!!
your reactions are soo real! I usually don't follow people who do reactions but I GOT to follow you! Awesome!
No better live band will EVER EXIST!!
I love how most of the band is in comfortable clothes while Angus is rocking the same schoolboy look he's had since the 70s. Also, as iconic as Brian's voice is, I'm curious what the band would be like if Bon was still around.
