Austin was so Amazing as Elvis. He really gave his all and more. Austin nailed it, his performance just blew me away, which is why I saw it 40 times in the movie theater. It's such a love letter to Elvis and a beautiful tribute to him. I just adore Austin, he's such a Terrific guy. Austin certainly should get the Big Awards, he deserves nothing but the Best! I'm looking forward to seeing him in his future projects. I also love Brendan Fraser, he's been a favorite for a very long time. I want nothing but the Best for him as well. It's a difficult choice between them. If I have to pick, I will have to choose Austin. Love you Austin and Brendan Always.

Austin is insanely talented, the way he transmits emotions is absolutely unique, he is so powerful; the gift he gave us with his beyond magnifinificent performance will live forever.
Will be a tough choice between Austin Butler and Brendan Fraser for the Oscar - they both seem to be very humble, honest people. Both are great performances, could go either way. Look forward to hearing/seeing the rest of this roundtable - fantastic line-up of talented actors. Though I feel the front-runners for the Oscar are Butler and Fraser.

Austin did sing and play piano and guitar tho, he did more than was even expected. He is a sentimental favorite because it's elvis who was so beloved. And the family is so happy. He's been around paying his dues as long as Brendan just not as famous. Lisa Marie will probably not go to the Oscars, she said she rarely goes anywhere. But Priscilla might go.

Either celebrating the beautiful icon Elvis, or the character in The Whale who's beauty is not physical, but in their connection to their heart. Austin Butler has to be the Oscar favourite, though I wouldn't be surprised if Brendan Fraser's underdog role is recognized with an Oscar for it's social representation. Will be an interesting Oscars. Winning an Oscar doesn't mean one actor, or performance, is better than another, it's all down to subjective taste, taken collectively by the academy. Either way, Austin Butler has a successful acting career now, and Brendan Fraser is the comeback kid, in terms of returned popularity. Both great performances that deserve recognition. 'Role' on the Oscars.
@@Shayler78 It’s going to be a tight race between the two of them. I’d be happy for either of them. I hope there would be a tie which is rare. The only tie I could think of was in 1969 between Barbara Streisand & Katherine Hepburn.

I love the movie and have watched it several times!! Austin was incredible, as it showed Elvis as an artist and also as a human being! I never get tired of saying that I became an Elvis fan! I was thinking either it was for a role for a movie or he is really eyeing for the role and I definitely think he's eyeing for it now because he's still letting it grow.
