Just started keto up after a long time, surprised many of these channels are still around.
I have made the cinnamon rolls twice so far and added chopped peacans. I thought the air fryer was a fad until i bought one 8 years ago. I got a Holsem brand for $90.00 on Amazon. I do meatballs, Italian sausage and all types of foods...couldn't be happier!

I have a Big Boss air fryer. It’s a giant glass bowl with a heater top. I wore the first one out. It’s large enough to cook a turkey in it with the expander, and I like that I can see how things are cooking. Not little, but it lives in my pantry closet. We use it several times a week. The one you’re advertising looks at least better than the tiny ones. I don’t mind dirty keto/low carb recipes. I lost my keto police badge a while ago during a Frosty run.

My airfryer is also a convection toaster oven, stainless steel as the non stick coating is a concern. Also turns itself off and doesn't heat up the house. Thanks for the recipe ideas.

For a caramel pecan variety you’d take approximately 1/4 cup Lakanto brown sugar, two tablespoons butter melted, 1/2 T water and 1/4 cup chopped pecans. Mix that up, place cinnamon rolls on the mixture in the pan. When done in the air fryer, carefully flip them over onto plate. I would watch carefully for cooking time 5-6 minutes-same time and temp as the other kind) but watch it just in case.
Lol...I do believe we have also had that 'celebrity' endorsed air fryer that didn't last! But my husband really loves the air fryer for steak so we now have a Cosori..so far, so good. These look so yummy!
I just want an air fryer that is 100% stainless steel. The chemicals we eat are as responsible for weight gain as the junk.

I solved a lot of kitchen gadget problems by getting a Cosori oven/toaster/airfryer. I no longer use my big oven, tossed my toaster and airfryer!
Sounds great. Ive been thinking how my old oven that we dont use anymore ever, is taking up a fair bit of room, it feels a bit wrong to not have it, but really Id rather have my airfryer and a few appliances than an old oven. Actually also do a lot in my good old electric frypan too, often easier to clean that up than most other cooking appliances,

is there another sustitute for pork rins panko? Pork rins don't exist in my country and/or are really hard to find, and per my research, doing them at home is a frying mess.
I’ve seen fried chicken skin chips that can be used, but they are pricey! Another option is a mix of roughly 2/3 almond flour and 1/3 grated Parmesan cheese. Works very well!

im trying to stay away from the sweets, cept to drink in water...thats my treat. But I can eat as much savory as I want and im a big fried pickle fan. I use my air fryer almost every day. I have only used an oven, like 3x since I got one. I love the oven, toaster style ones also. My counter top Ninja is my best friend. Im aiming toward Carnivore.

Absolutely not. I have an afternoon snack everyday. It's what gets me through to dinner. I IF every single day. reakfast, for me, starts about noon. I eat clean keto, the way it's intended. I'm healthy, weight loss goal, with a perfect A1c. Instead of shaming, we need to encourage, teach and share positive support.. We are not a one size fits all. Having a mid day snack sustains me, keeps me satisfied and not breaking over until my last meal of the day! So you do you😊

Some folks have never lived in a time when they WEREN'T exhorted to snack; as a metabolic necessity (to keep your metabolism 'up'), as a treat or reward, just as a habit or a 'why not it's yummy' 🫤 I just get disappointed at the number of times keto snacks (some of which are pretty substantial) are just accepted as a necessary part of life

I have the Chefman Air fryer and I love it. And it does so much more. No wasted space on my counter! I cheated the other day, donuts, and I really need to make this cinnamon roll recipe next time since I am a diabetic. :D Can't wait.
It's actually cheaper to buy the precrumbled pork panko. Not by very much, but it is cheaper. Like 15 cents.
What brand pork panko do you buy? Cheapest I’ve seen is about $8 for 10oz. A 4oz bag of pork rinds is about $1.99 so it works out significantly cheaper to get whole, but I may be shopping in the wrong places! :-)
@@HighfalutinLowCarb I get mine at Walmart. Under $6 for 10 ozs. Precrunched. Under $7 for 11 ozs. Uncrunched. Works out to 7 cents cheaper/oz.
@@pabeader1941 Since 2018, I've been using pork rinds, and in my experience, no Panko compares to the quality of dry pork rinds straight out of the bag for our recipes. Panko tends to be too greasy, so while it might save you a few pennies, the final outcome-which matters more to me-is compromised.
@@cheffatgrams I think the extra fat is a good thing. Especially if you are using them for a coating. In certain recipes I can see the need for drier rind flour but not enough to justify the trouble to make it.

@@HighfalutinLowCarb hi. Yes. Ive been on low carb and keto for at least 6 yrs and somehow I still couldn't get near my target body. Started size 16, would yoyo to 6 through 12. Then 2 yrs ago torn my knee meniscus so my knee would be painful and all swollen. I also had trouble with portion control coz I love eating and snacking, fasting makes me crazy, agony just to stick with it .
I tried beef eggs and butter diet and the weight just fell off. No more swelling, I can go back to exercise and knee just miraculously recovered.
I don't worry about portion control now, I eat as much as I want as long as I aim for my target protein for the day. I eat till full, and I don't get hungry, I could easily do one to two meals a day without agonizing about the hours till the next meal. Beef diet is just boring though and expensive, difficult to maintain especially if you eat out and socialize. But yes, it can help
You didn't sift your sweetener!
No one ever talks about the amount of sodium involved in all this. Tortillas often have over 500mg of sodium, pickles, 300+... Sodium should not exceed 2300mg daily, less for people with hypertension. Monkfruit sweetener has Erythritol and sometimes Xilitol which are hazardous. Plain and simple stupid.

Why are you guys so afraid of carbs? Potatoes have nutrients and carbs (Real Carbs Not the denatured over processed abomination people call Bread including tortillas) give you energy. Buddy you just created two of the most unhealthiest snacks I've ever seen.
@@DivergentDroid No such thing as a good carb. All carbs become sugar. Some just do it slower. Nothing wrong with eating them if you aren't metabolicaly healthy, but 90% of humans aren't. Better to be safe than sorry.
@@pabeader1941 That's as dumb as assuming risk factors derived by broad spectrum statistical studies can apply to individuals. You can do cause and effect testing on the individual and discover zero risk factors apply. Doctors don't do that because 1) they are trained to push drugs 2) they are lazy, much easier to push drugs than do actual cause and effect testing on the individual - which most of the time will make the pushing of the drugs fallacious. That's not encouraged by the big pharma overlords. It costs the insurance provider even if it's Medicaid more and they don't want to pay it. It'a all wholly corrupt.
