The memory wipe is actually neccessary because the Abyss twin has mentioned about the sea of flower at the end. Our traveler also know what the abyss twin implies. The huge plot point wouldn't just reveal all now when we have 3 more regions to explore Natlan, Snezhnaya and Khaneriah/ Celestia,... The twin going out telling all the infos knowing the main wouldn't remember fits the narrative of the abyss twin actually. If the abyss twin tells you all things when the time hasn't come wouldn't fit the whole "we will be reunited" quest and OOC for her. Which means that the twins travelling to Teyvat is actually not an coincidence and the Heavenly principle may know the true identities of the twins so she want to divide them into separate paths

For sure it was a lore drop for use but too early to know for the traveler. For all we know this quest was not originally planned but we were yapping so much about this story line not progressing they did this quest... Or not, but still, Traveler needs to be in the dark longer. We are here on purpose for sure, but I am not sure we are divided the way we are on purpose. I think, either twin could be the traveler or the abyss twin, but that division is what cause us to be a descender while our twin isn't. Whether this is all a trial or the real hurdle we need to get through I am not sure yet... The travail ending make me think this is all just so we can earn the right to do something else... Bigger (Genshin 2 lol). The more we learn of Teyvat the more fake its history seems... It's either rewritten or constructed to hide something...

I just finished doing the Remuria world quest alongside this quest. And wow, it's just like I fell in love with the game again. These type of quests remind me of why I love Genshin so much.
Also, genshin's osts are just unmatched. The music always makes me feel whatever the game wants to portray 🥲 The bedtime story ost and "Whisper of Domus Aurea" from the Remuria quest were so beautiful.

People who aren't blood related use it for (young) people slightly older than them as a colloquial greeting as well. calling Aether "哥哥" would actually be the expected title for her to use, since calling him just by his name all the time seems a bit distant and less close (using 'family titles' for family is the norm I think) and there isn't really a non-age related term for 'brother' in chinese.

This quest make me thingking that all along, we're the traveller not aether. And when we play as him we're just travelling with him, the exact concept with other playable character when we play as them we're just travelling and fighting with them.

Hard to say how to feel about this arc. I felt like I wanted more with the buildup and dansleif, but the ending with the siblings felt very nice but also pretty sad as well. Either way, it was a fine simple arc, it was surprisingly short

(It was a fleeting feeling but still, I was pissed) Now that I've had time to process it, I understand it more but still feel a bit emotional over it. This game, I swear! Sorry to randomly lore theorize in the comments, but I was just thinking: I know traveler’s twin said they don’t quite know what to do with the loom of fate yet, but if it’s true that it can’t edit or add to current ley lines, it doesn’t rule out the idea of simply creating a new ley line system entirely-one that hilichurls and Khaenri’ans in general can die and be reborn from. Perhaps that process of rebirth would allow them to shed the curse entirely, and THAT might cause the samsara to reset.
I feel like this one had to be in Sumeru bc of the ties to the ley lines and Irminsul. Plus to close out Caribert’s story since he was last seen in Sumeru 😅 Fontaine has had some of the best world quests for sure, but Sumeru still has its charms

It has incredible quests too but I do feel like the Fontaine ones had a better balance of being engaging and the dialogue vs. dropping long walls of text after long walls of text which happens in Sumeru’s. Personally, didn’t feel it as heavily w the Aranara quest (even though that one’s the most infamous), but I did feel it with the desert world quests. They had really interesting stories!! However, it was SO much dialogue to parse through for Golden Slumber and Sorush’s quest that it felt like a slog. Especially unvoiced. I think my favorite world quest so far actually was Chenyu Vale’s main one. Lots of diverse scenery and puzzles mixed with the world building dialogue and felt easier to get into the characters even though they had no voices.
The quest lowkey feels incomplete. Like we got left on a huge cliffhanger it feels like there will be a bit of a plot hole going from this and jumping straight to natlan. I need a Act II of this 😭

From this archon quest what I got from it is that Aether and lumine are not related I first had this thought back in sumeru when we were told Aether was a descender and lumine belongs to this world and this archon only helped this thought lumine said that when she finished traveling this world that she saw their homeland’s flowers and Nahida told us that lumine belonged to this world now in Fontaine even furina herself said that Aether was just a spectator in the grand scheme of Genshin and she’s right Aether is just a spectator and if Aether in furina’s words is a Spector and when we found out Aether was descender and lumine belonged to this world which brings the question how could someone who belongs to teyvat be related to someone is not of the world of teyvat which can only mean that Aether and lumine are not related by blood atleast

From this archon quest what I got from it is that Aether and lumine are not related I first had this thought back in sumeru when we were told Aether was a descender and lumine belongs to this world and this archon only helped this thought lumine said that when she finished traveling this world that she saw their homeland’s flowers and Nahida told us that lumine belonged to this world now in Fontaine even furina herself said that Aether was just a spectator in the grand scheme of Genshin and she’s right Aether is just a spectator and if Aether in furina’s words is a Spector and when we found out Aether was descender and lumine belonged to this world which brings the question how could someone who belongs to teyvat be related to someone is not of the world of teyvat which can only mean that Aether and lumine are not related by blood atleast
