    I was 15 years old when this track came out. I'm now 50 years old, and this track will always take me back to 1988! One of the best Hip-Hop tracks ever made.

    Scott Sterling was one of the nicest people you could ever meet. he was a few grades ahead of me while at Our Savior Lutheran way back in the 70s&80s. We were so proud of him and still to this day remember his demeanor. He could also ball as well. I believe he was highly recruited@one time. SIP Scott

If you check out Melle Mel, Grandmaster Flash...I mean, anything from the early to mid 80s, it was free of cursing, drugs, killing and (mostly) disrespecting women. I have one track in mind which was not free of the last one. But before Gangster Rap became dominant, it was all pretty chill and mostly bragging.

    This video was shot in my neighborhood I was out there on the steps! I was like 5 years old! When I was 18 big pun shot the twins deep cover 98 video right up the block from this same area! I was at that shoot too. I got to witness too greats drop visuals in my neighborhood. South bronx the birth place of hip hop. Forest projects to prospect Ave to Boston rd you can feel the essence!

    Rock and roll bottled up ATTITUDE and made it swing, but In the 80's we needed a fresh take. People like KRS and Chuck D were like lightning rods to us teenagers. There was so much raw power in their stage presence and on the records. I loved this track so much.
