I wouldn't say that this is Doomfist being glitchy. In fact I would say that Doomfist himself is very very tightly coded considering everything that he adds. I would however saying that his abilities demonstrate how buggy and half-assed some of the map design and coding can be. Not to say that Overwatch is bad compared to most games, just to say that it's clearly not perfect. For example, Doomfist's meteor strike is working exactly as intended here, it's sending him down to the lowest available floor surface on his landing reticle. However, if the lowest available floor surface is outside the map, well, you get the picture.

The map design is not "half assed" .collisions have been added to the upper rooftops and such to stop the textures disappearing at a certain angle in some parts of the map to the player. This adds an extra level of smoothness. They are not supposed to be accessed normally and there is just a few places doomfist can access them just like reaper used to be able to... The best part about this is that it's actually possible in game because he doesent use multiple abilities at a time, so getting onto that mountain is actually possible
Reminds me of climbing the cliffs in Half-Life 1 & 2 without any hacks. It's always intriguing when you try to travel past the intended boundaries of a game. You feel like you're denying the creators path and making your own as well as wanting to see more of the world you're in than just what areas the action... the story is taking place.
this better not get patched, it takes way too much skill to get up there that it'd be worth what you could do from up there. it costs an ultimate to get there, from there you can't do much but jump down onto unsuspecting enemies, which is what going up there is possible worth.
I'd see that as a really good tactic actually, a bug is something that breaks the game but with that you could hide out for an ambush or go behind enemy lines and take out large numbers with the meteor strike
The maps look so weird when you see it from all the way up there. Numbani looks nothing like the story trailer for Doomfist. It would be cool if they added that city part in and you were able to see it from afar.
imagine if there was a dps who's ult fused them with another hero (like kayn from LoL, but an ally) so they could ult on doomfist and exploit the hell out of this
