Slip Anchor in the Derby and Frankel in the Guineas
Two of the most brilliant classic wins of all time

Keep wearing those rose-tinteds son, beat nothing in a bang average time with horses closing him on the line coz he'd set off like a nutter, horses who never won a race again. You wanna see a great performance in a Guineas... watch Zafonic beat a breeders winner with ease.

    the Blood(Galileo-Northern Dancer-Nearco)

The bloodline actually goes Nearco to Nearctic to Northern Dancer to Sadler's Wells. Then, after he was retired to stud, Sadler's Wells would be responsible for siring for the Coolmore breeding operation 3 brilliant G1 winning sons, who after they were retired to stud would all 3 become prolofic sires in their own right Those 3 sons of Sadler's Wells were................Montjeu in 1996, Galileo in 1998, and High Chaparral in 1999. All 3 of them great champions on the racetrack who produced brilliant offspring in the breeding shed from that very same bloodline.

Such a shame he wrapped him up in cotton wool, he never proved himself against world opposition. One of GB's best but can't say at all one of the world's best.

@@brianleeback200 uncle mo, animal kingdom, havre de grace, wise Dan.....the list goes on, all proven. Frankel won races down the road against a poor crop in average times I'm afraid. He was decent but to say 'Best' is highly subjective because he never proved it. He could only beat Cirrus de Aigle by a length when Cirrus had travelled and was decent but on the slide...best ever? C'mon 🤣, I really enjoyed Frankel visually but was realistic about what he did.

@@ajvindiesel8517 you are cuckoo in the nut. They didn’t travel outside America and uncle mo won 5 from 8 races
Sorry but shouldn’t even be in the same sentence as Frankel

  • @ajvindiesel8517

It was an average performance in an average time against a right poor lot who barely ever won a race. He was great AFTER the guineas for me.

    If i take it that
    CITY OF TROY
Was a much more impressive Dewhurst winner than Frankel
    Then i consider the possibility
    That
    CITY OF TROY
may be a serious international force to reckoned with !
