The craziest thing I’ve noticed is that Yinu was just defending herself. The final part of the fight shows it so clearly, she’s sending out music notes to protect herself but Mayday and Zuke run towards her. The entire time they are coming after her, not the other way around.
This was the moment that really made me question Zeke and May’s motives. I mean, yes, they brought forth and addressed a terrible family dynamic, but at the cost of destroying a concert hall and Yinu’s piano, which in game, is mentioned that is from her late father. Honestly, I just really love all the little stuff in this game.
I never knew it was that deep, I just thought we just Destroyed her Dreams and Future, but now, I'm convinced we destroyed her Past and Memories Too.... Are we the Bad Guys?
idk about yall but i feel like the mom is just mainly overprotective, shes mainly telling yinu to focus on the piano which seemingly keeps her calm while SHE attacks mayday and zuke, like any good parent would if someone was trying to wreck their performance. shes also dealing with grief and only wants the best for her daughter, she probably never got over the death of her husband and therefore focuses on yinu and seeing her succeed. shes not a bad mom, but a broken one.
Always love that during the later portions of the fight, it becomes 3 genres fighting it out instead. EDM vs Rock vs Classical. As opposed to earlier in the fight where the EDM is blended into the classical.
I love that bit too. You have your meter in the boss fights to show who is winning between Rock and EDM, but at the end, when Yinu takes full control with her furious Classical piano, the meter freaks out, as though it can't understand something so different from either style!
I think this is the battle where BBJ, along with the player, starts to question the actions they’re taking. Before, it was just taking down some distant baddie with DJSS and SAYU, but here we finally start to see the other side of the coin. This whole battle was absolutely heart wrenching when I first saw it all. And every time you replay or rewatch it, you see and realize something new.
@@iTzNikkitty Yes, but after fight with Sayu, they agreed with her creators that they would return Sayu. And will never make her a reverse mermaid again.
The gameplay.. if I'm being honest wasn't the best. The story? Was another story. Each nsr leader was based on how the toxic parts of music industry worked.
How much Zeke and May treasure their own instruments, they shoulda known better. Always makes me tear up, seeing things from the kid's perspective- These two stage crashers showed up, picked a fight during her practice/ performance, triggered her de-mom, annnnnnd broke her daddy's piano. T.T
I keep seeing people say this, and I don't think yall understand. Yinu was being manipulated by her mom. The main reason she wanted her to play was because it reminded her of her late husband. Though yinu loved to play the strings that held the Piano and Yinu was the symbol was he being manipulated by her mother. Which is why she said "I hate you all" becuase she truly hated also her for what she become. Not saying her mom didn't care for her, but In reality, the mom held on to the piano too much. Which is why Yinu played a song that she used to play with her dad. To snap the mom out of her senses and calm her down. In a way. They brought her together
@@crunchyhoe637 she the good karen in this case, they really destoryed a 9 years old piano that belonged to her father just because they "didn't like it"💀
The fact that yinu and her mother fell from a large fight actually means something while zuke & mayday we're just fine it means from yinu and her moms perspective this is a detrimental loss to them, thats how truly devoted they we're to this
This fight screams Kingdom Hearts with the rhythm actions. Thanks to the first thorn gate that formed "heart" with a lock. Massive Spoiler: Yinu actually got her Piano back.
What really stuck out to me at the end was that, since the piano is broken, the song plays out of tune. It’s been said that musicians only speak in their best language, once the mother heard it she knew exactly what Yinyu was feeling
im not too sure about the lore of this game yet, but destroying something that you just hate even tho it gives you no harm whatsoever is kinda uncool man
Yes, basically both points are bad, zuke and may are just destroying all the idols things and passion for music, and the others banned rock from the city so they wanted revenge, but their revolution is really aggresive and do things like destroying yinus piano, so theres really not a good/bad point on any of them, they just have good and bad reasoning for their actions

It’s the first boss fight that actually makes you see the impact of your actions. For SubSup it was just him flying into space all funnily, for SAYU it was just unplugging a cord. For this one you actually see what you’re doing; ruining their performances. And since the city’s energy supply runs off music, you’re also retroactively destroying the power supply to the entire city. So you’re not just beating up NSR artists; you’re causing many people to go out of their jobs, be unable to even see in their own homes, etc. Sorry about the tangent I just went on lol
