This is one of the smoothest arrests I've seen! 1) Telling the guy his car got hit to get him out of the house, 2) keeping his mother as calm as possible thinking about her son's car hit and run accident and 3) All of the attempted murder details were given to the guy outside of the house. Lesson = don’t trust the cops, all they do is lie
you think its ok for a public servant to lie? no its not... does not matter if it makes the job easier they should never lie and always have a code of honor and integrity they operate by.
Definitely text book! I wish mom used her rights to decline the search. Not sure if they found anything but she definitely should have declined. So sad though. She was caught off guard.

they did not have to go to his door and make the arrest at home... they could have put surveillance on him and got him going to his car or at a gas station or something and not involved his mother or neighbors..
you know actual police work.... no one said it was easy to be a cop... its not supposed to be.

They did that to my family member as well, called saying it was Sears and after she answered they hang up and there was a knock at the door. They admitted it was them who called to make sure she was home. It was a warrant for non appearance on traffic violations. She spent the weekend in jail and learned her lesson.

Attempted murder for shooting at someone but here in Louisville Kentucky my 16 year old son was robbed & shot twice and the guy was charged with assault. A joke.
That's Aggravated Assault which is the same charge as Attempted Murder for the states that dont have attempted murder..

@thatisabsolutelykooooge2211 it's around the same time frame as far as sentencing goes, both charges have to meet certain criteria for a suspect to be convicted. Attempt Murder Charges are a little stiff compared to Aggravated Assault.. again pretty much each state has their own laws. Kinda like every city has certain ordinances.

This guys charges will be downgraded because he didn’t hurt anybody if no one is hurt that is not attempted murder! He probably will come out with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
