Great video! I really struggled with Togawa in my Rise of Fenris campaign. Now I've warmed up to them and like them more than Albion. The traps are good psychological deterrents.
I think their logic was sound. Got a good factory card for popularity and tried to climb the ladder via encounters which is pretty doable in a 3p game. After dropping to low power against two higher power mats I could see the appeal of that. I think ultimately, 8 workers and territory spread would have been much more valuable for them than Machine over muscle /shrug

Yes! the traps are so good and especially when none of them have been revealed--people tend to imagine they are the worst :)
