  • The Mad Spotter Hooks actually do work with the PowerBlock Pro EXP.
Took me 30sec to figure it out... No rocket science involved 😅

So excited to see this, then spotted my powerblocs have a solid 1" bar across bottom not the small tube like in this video, won't get the clearance to get the hook past. Great to see it works with some version though

I just verified this also works with the elite series as well

I have the EXP version aswell, but I've just removed the 1" bar at the bottom, as it has no funktion anyways other than add a small amount of weight. Works perfect then 👍

The set of power blocks that I have the EXP sport will not work because the bar at the bottom in the center of the block is too wide compared to the one you have in your video. Just want to give people a heads up to check their power blocks before they were to order some.

I am a bit confused now. Powerblock Pro EXP w/ Mad Spotter Pro does or does NOT work? x

Mad Spotter works with the Powerblock Pro EXP.
Does not work with the Powerblock EXP.
Mad Spotter Pro does not work with either of them b/c of the contoured handles.

This is genius, do you think it would work the same with the "Mad Spotter Pro" version?

I think the Mad Spotter Pro could be applied/inserted the same way BUT the Powerblock Pro EXP handle has a contoured shape and the center part is pretty thick, it isn't straight like the knurled handle of a regular dumbbell.
If one has upgraded to a self-built or bought version (Bare Steel Equipmennt or JD Gym Equipment) of a knurled handle for the PB Pro EXP then the MS Pro should fit.

Thank you for your prompt reply, now I have two questions:
      1. Do you get pinched by the cross rod of the Original version of the Mad Spotter when using it without the wrap?
      2. If using the Original version of the Mad Spotter with your Powerblock Pro Series EXP, Do you always have to keep the weight extensions in a vertical position and then insert the PB handle unit with the Mad Spotter already in place to make it work?

      @@bigjoesan
#1 It's uncomfortable w/o the wrap, especially with heavier weights
#2 Yeah, you have to "stand the PB up" to change the weight. You can not insert the MS when the PB are resting in their stand.
